Starbucks is un-branding at least three of its Seattle outlets, the first of which just reopened as "15th Avenue Coffee and Tea." Winn-Dixie, a 500-outlet supermarket chain, recently launched a new ad campaign under the tagline, "Local flavor since 1956."

It is no joke that the Holidays are hard on the waist line. There is so much decadent food around in unsuspecting palces. Plus it is a stressful time which makes it even harder to have will power.

Nicole said she returned to her and her husband Keith Urban's homeland so their daughter Sunday could meet Keith's father for the first time.

Taliban in Swat valley call 10-day ceasefire
Taliban fighters in north-west Pakistan's Swat valley called a 10-day ceasefire on Sunday after local officials agreed to enforce Islamic laws.

The ceasefire brought a pause in fighting between the Pakistani military and the Pakistani Taliban after more than a year of clashes that have left hundreds of civilians, militants and soldiers dead.
The region was once a popular holiday destination for Pakistanis escaping urban life.

The first white dress. I wanted to look a little 60's flapper style with this dress. It looks better in person than it does in a photograph though, the photo reminds me of the white chemises we had to wear in high school underneath our uniforms so we would look 'decent'.
