I have no problem being active, but my problem is that I often start working out and eating right, but then something happens... vacations, holidays, injury, etc and I get off track and it takes me months to get back on a routine. In the off time I gain weight.

My goal is just to continue with my already good habits (getting to the gym at least three times a week, eating healthy). I do want to push myself a bit harder cardio wise, since I slacked on that some around the holidays! I want my yoga practice to continue to progress as well.

Fresh fruits are a little sparse in these cold Winter months, so I've been buying more bananas since my beloved berries are out of season. Last week I picked up a few too many, and they started getting brown before my family had a chance to eat them. So I decided to make lemonade out of lemons, or rather banana muffins out of overripe bananas.

I hope everyone had a nice holiday. I had the honor of cooking dinner for a small group of four people. The meal was vegetarian (actually vegan, except for one dessert), mostly organic, with no added sugar and nothing refined.

The former nanny to Katie Price (aka Jordan) and Peter Andre’s children, Becky Gauld, has a few things to say about the reality show couple. If you watch their dreadful show, you know that in the season finale last year, Becky was fired from her job as caretaker to Katie and Peter’s two sons because she took a holiday against Katie’s wishes. Since then, Becky has taken the pair to court for wrongful termination and won.
