Lindsay Lohan went to the hospital on Thursday night because she was having an asthma attack, her mom tells PEOPLE.
"She was losing oxygen. She couldn't breathe," Dina Lohan says about her 21-year-old daughter, whose emergency room trip with deejay Samantha Ronson was photographed.

I went to a yoga class the other night and just about everything about it was perfect. It was a Vinyasa class, so we did all these different arm balancing poses and hip openers, and the music was really vibrant and loud (I love that).
The instructor kicked my butt.

Hi Fit,
I recently started running outdoors and am really enjoying it. It's started to cool off, and breathing in the cold air really burns my throat and lungs when I jog. Is there anything that can be done to prevent this?

A growing number of plans offer specially trained case managers to help patients during a major illness.
Different from disease-management programs, which focus on patients with a chronic condition such as asthma or diabetes, the case-management services are for patients with costly and complex medical conditions such as cancer or an organ transplant. These managers — typically nurses — help patients with everything from avoiding duplicated tests to finding the best-priced prescriptions and other services.

So here I am, 1:30-ish in the afternoon, chilling at my house, and having a hard time breathing. GREAT.

I have exercise induced bronchospasms (EIB), which sometimes makes wanting to exercise so hard. I take my inhaler before hand, exercise, and then after (and sometimes during) my heart rate skyrockets. I’m gonna try to push myself to go to the gym tonight, get on the elliptical and tough it out.

Rep. Steve Kagen is a doctor, a Democrat and, as far as his office has been able to determine, the only member of Congress who does not have any kind of health insurance. The way he describes it, it happened as an afterthought.
