I am always on the lookout for ways to exercise with my dog, which is why I was pleased with the Walky Dog bike attachment, however many of you were not thinking it would work with your pooch.
An alternative to biking with your dog could be this Cardio Canine human harness and dog leash system ($55.00) for running with your K9 companion instead. This little contraption attaches to you (at the waist) and to him (at the neck/collar), so you can run with Fido without having to hold the leash the entire time.

Since running is one of my favorite forms of cardio, I'm a big fan of the treadmill when I can't get outside for a run. I'm also big into the elliptical, and by the looks of my gym, it appears tons of other people are too. While it's a popular piece of gym equipment for so many reasons, there are also some disadvantages to using one.

It may be tough to break away from your busy schedule to fit in a 30- or 60-minute workout. That doesn't mean you should skip out on exercise entirely though. Anything is better than nothing, so you may need to split up your workout throughout the day.

I love to take my pooch Bonnie out for walks and jogs because I know we both benefit from the fresh air and exercise. It turns out though, people who exercise with dogs can help you drop more pounds than a person who exercises alone. In a study at Northwestern Memorial Hospital’s Wellness Institute in Chicago, 92 overweight and obese people were tracked for a year.

I've shown you all some pretty advanced arm balancing poses found in yoga; one being Scissor Legs Side Crow, a balancing spinal twisting pose where your legs are scissored out to the side. In another arm balance, One-Legged Arm Balance, you balance on your hands while your legs are in a split position. After experimenting with both poses, it's really fun to work on switching from one to the other without letting your feet touch the floor.
