Workout on Your Honeymoon, Seriously

Welcome to our last installment of Wedding Season on the Sugar Network! This week we are celebrating the final phase of the wedding celebration - the honeymoon. Now, I know a lot of you are reading the title laughing, but I am being totally serious here.

The thing is that you (and your new hubby) have been working hard to get those toned bodies for the wedding -- You may have even found that you actually enjoy [gasp] working out and how good you feel from it. Since the honeymoon is supposed to be a time where you feel your best, happy and relaxed, think about squeezing in a few workouts. So, if you're actually considering leaving your hotel room while on your honeymoon, here are few tips on how to fit a workout in:

I am not saying wake up at 5:00 am every morning, but if you ever have any down time then hit the gym at the hotel. Most resorts these days have amazing fitness centers that are worth 30 minutes of your time. A good resource to use while looking for a hotel with a good fitness center is AthleticMindedTraveler, because the folks over there have scoured hotels gyms nationwide.
Some hotels will even offer group fitness activities like water aerobics, sunrise hikes and even standard fitness classes like spinning.
If you're near the beach, how about a sunset jog or stroll on the beach with your man? Not only is it romantic, but running and walking on sand are great ways to work your leg muscles.
Speaking of the beach, snorkeling and scuba diving are fabulous ways to be active and see some amazing things under the sea.
Not into swimming with the fish, kayaking and canoeing are great ways to spend some time together as newlyweds while seeing the water from above.
For those of you that love to run, think about doing something totally different such as sight jogging - a jogging tour. Depending on where you're going, ask your concierge about availability.
While we're on the subject of the concierge -- If sight jogging is not your style, but you would be interested in something else along those lines, ask the concierge available options. He should be able to give you many suggestions for different types of things you can do to see the area while burning a few calories along the way.

Fit's Tips: If working out just isn't on your agenda, an hour of sex could burn about 250 calories (for an 130 pound woman).

Wedding Day Workout

Most grooms participate in some sport or athletic activity (golf, soccer, football, etc) on the morning of their wedding day. This is how they ease the tension and I must say the grooms have it right - the name of the game here is stress relief, not last minute weight loss. Come the day of, or even weekend of, your wedding, hopefully you've already done your best from an exercise perspective and one last workout will not do much in terms of dropping pounds. However, what it may do is calm you down, especially if you're feeling any last minute stress or jitters.

The problem is that most brides do not have enough time to feed themselves the day of their wedding, let alone time to fit in a workout or group activity. However, if you have been working out on a regular basis for a year (or even six months) up until your big day, you've probably noticed that working out is a great stress reliever and mood booster -- Two things you might need at this point. So, think about trying and finding a way to fit it in with these three tips:

Stick to your routine: If your body is used to going on a two mile run every Saturday morning, then try to fit it in. Maybe you switch the run to a Friday morning, instead of Saturday, but I am sure you'll feel great when it's done and you'll be ready to hit the ground running (literally and figuratively). Invite your out-of-towner pals, or even get your husband-to-be (only on jogs the day before, that is), to join you. This is a great time to actually have a conversation with them/him before (or during) all the commotion that is your wedding weekend.

Yoga: Get all your maids together for a pre hair and make-up yoga session. Not only will you (and all your girls) feel great from getting a little workout in, you'll also feel more relaxed and ready for your close-ups.

Stretching: If you can find the time to fit in anything, at the very least, do a little stretching when you wake up the morning of your big day. Pay more attention to your lower body as most brides are on their feet (in high heels, might I add) the entire day of their wedding.

Flirty Girl Fitness Opens in Chicago

Chicago’s very first women-only health and fitness lifestyle facility featuring classes that focus on empowerment for women will open this May.

Ellipticals, treadmills and stationary bikes will be replaced with brass dance poles, leather lap dancing chairs, a Coyote Ugly dance bar and a large lounge area at Flirty Girl Fitness. A few of the unique classes being offered include Pole Dancing, Striptease Aerobics, Chair Dancing and Hula Hoop’Lah. Not into the pole thing? You can also kick butt with Hottie Body Boxing and Flirty Fight Club classes which include boxing bags and pink boxing gloves! A Flirty Girl Fitness Membership is $120 per month and includes unlimited classes. For non-members a Drop-In Class is $20 a class and 6-Week Session Classes vary from $150-$185. Saturday Workshops are $40. Along with these classes, the club will also feature over 31 total classes, a Coyote Ugly Bar, Nike boutique and Health Café, Spa and private parties.

Perhaps a bachelorette party? Their specialty is a Luxury Bachelorette Party Package, which includes class instruction for the bride-to-be and her guests, cocktails, fine catering, makeovers, manicures, and gift bags that include a digital photo album of the evening for the bride-to-be. Then the whole party is whisked off in a limo to the hottest clubs in town with VIP access especially arranged for them by Flirty Girl Fitness.

Charlotte Casiraghi Poised to Be the Next It Royal

In truth, Monaco's Charlotte Casiraghi is not a new addition to the pretty young royal set. The 25-year-old member of the Monaco royal family, who counts Grace Kelly as her grandmother, Princess Caroline of Hanover as her mother, and the reigning and newlywed Prince Albert and Princess Charlene of Monaco as her uncle and aunt, has long been known for her good taste and looks. Since it's clearly the year of the royals - with Monaco's July royal wedding, Pippa mania, and of course William and Kate's international nuptial sensation in April - Charlotte may soon get more attention. French Vogue definitely thinks she's worthy of theirs, as they put her on the cover of the ever-crucial September issue.

Born to Monaco's Princess Caroline and her second husband, the late Italian businessman Stefano Casiraghi, Charlotte is fourth in line to Monaco's throne. The middle daughter between two brothers, Charlotte's parents married when her mother was already three months pregnant with her eldest brother, Andrea. Her father died when she was only 4 in a boat-race accident, and following his death her mother moved the family to France before later remarrying.

As for a royal wedding of her own, rumors have been surfacing for more than a year that Charlotte will marry her longtime-love Alex Dellal. Since 2007, Charlotte's dated the 28-year-old London art gallery owner, whose godfather, Mario Testino, happened to shoot Charlotte for the latest French Vogue. Before any wedding, Charlotte will likely continue to focus on her equestrian career and journalism endeavors; she's a published writer and has worked as an editor-at-large. Johnny Depp Upsets Robert Pattinson For Number One Spot of 2011 PopSugar 100!

It's our fifth year letting readers vote to pick their favorite stars who have had the biggest years, and every time it's amazing to see how you all choose. Robert Pattinson remains the king of the PopSugar 100, slipping just one spot to number two and maintaining one of the most impressive records on the list. Johnny Depp reigned supreme this time around, however, with Jennifer Aniston, Kristen Stewart, and Brad Pitt rounding out the top five. British invasion: The Duchess of Cambridge, Kate Middleton, is making her PopSugar 100 debut in the wake of her spectacular royal wedding, but she's not the only noteworthy Brit. Oscar winner Colin Firth is also on his first-ever PopSugar 100!
It's all about the starlets! Blake Lively and Kristen Stewart both made huge leaps from the bottom 50 in 2010 to the top 20 this time around. The Twilight actress even cracked the top five, joining her man Robert Pattinson.
All-star team: Brad Pitt, Jennifer Aniston, and Johnny Depp have all been in the top 10 for all five years of the PopSugar 100!
Britney's back! Britney Spears landed at the number six spot, which ties her PopSugar 100 record from 2007. In the years between she slipped as low as 35 in 2010, but she's back on top for 2011.
Idol behavior: Jennifer Lopez's turn on American Idol helped her score big in the PopSugar 100. She went from 78 in 2010 to 27 this time around.

Kate Moss Heads Home Following a Ritzy Stop in Paris With Jamie Hince

Kate Moss flashed a smile as she left her London home today in a blazer and skinny suede pants. The supermodel is back from a quick jaunt to Paris, where she toasted her collaboration with photographer Terry Richardson and retailer Mango with fiancé Jamie Hince. Kate and The Kills front man, who have been dating off and on since 2007, are expected to tie the knot this Summer. Nothing was revealed about their plans in Kate's new interview with The Telegraph of London, though she did share her enthusiasm for the recent royal wedding and her newfound hobby of making jam. The nuptials would be the latest milestone in what's already been a big year for Kate. She currently has the rare honor of gracing two separate Vogue covers at once and was ranked as one of the world's highest-paid models by Forbes with a reported income of $14 million in 2010.

What Went Down on the Royal Honeymoon?

We knew plenty about the royal wedding before it happened and got instant updates about the dress, the guests, and the parties as it all went down. But the royal family kept details about the honeymoon as secure as the crown jewels. Now that it's over and the duke and duchess are back to military life and grocery runs, some details have emerged about William and Kate's trip to islands off the coast of Kenya fit for a future queen and king. If you're looking to live vicariously on this Monday, here's what we know.

Who: William, Kate, and a bunch of wild animals. The pair saw newborn turtles hatch and run to sea and swam with sharks and stingrays while out on a scuba dive.
What: Relaxing in a $6,000-a-night luxury villa that includes a freshwater pool, private garden, and outdoor yoga pavilion, plus a personal chef and butler.
Where: In the Seychelles, a string of 115 islands in the Indian Ocean and a place they had already visited in 2007 when they allegedly made a secret agreement to marry one day. The locals presented the royals with a Coco de Mer "love nut," an aphrodisiac coconut and fertility symbol unique to the island.
When: After delaying their honeymoon, the newlyweds left on May 10 to enjoy 10 days of peace and privacy.
Why: To celebrate their marriage and enjoy time together, of course! A spokesperson said it was successful: "The couple thoroughly enjoyed their time together." How could you not with a trip like that?

Sweet and Geeky Marriage Proposals

Wedding season is moving right along here on the Sugar Network, but it's always fun to take a look back and see how everything started. Marriage proposals are getting more creative with the addition of smartphones, video games, and movie magic, and I can't help but tear up after seeing these sweetly geeky proposals from geeks all across the country. Making the movies jealous - The latest in a string of viral marriage proposals, Matt asked Ginny to marry him in an elaborate (Mac made?) movie trailer in a theater full of onlookers. Unbeknownst to her, there's a camera on her the entire time, and her reactions are totally adorable. Movie geeks, unite!
Widgets proposal - A Mac nerd made up a custom widget to propose to his girlfriend back in 2007. Mac dashboard widgets were the hot ticket item back then, and this one was the first (and only?) of its kind.
HP7 Android app - Disguising a Harry Potter trivia quiz as a marriage proposal isn't easy, but this determined geek learned how to develop one on his own in order to surprise the Muggle of his dreams.

Mariah Carey Gives Birth to Twins!

It's a boy and a girl for Mariah Carey and Nick Cannon - on their wedding anniversary! Mariah Carey's twins were born at 12:07 p.m. EST on Saturday morning, according to a statement released by her rep. Nick and Mariah have yet to name the babies, though we can't wait to hear what the new parents pick. Nick was apparently so nervous that he initially went to the wrong part of the hospital and the two listened to her hit "We Belong Together" after the twins were born. Nick and Mariah got married on April 30 in 2007 and were planning to renew their vows on Sunday. Congrats to Nick and Mariah on their new additions and wedding anniversary!

She was decked out in a dress from her friend John Galliano, which was paired with Manolo Blahnik shoes that had a blue lining! Jamie, meanwhile, wore a suit from Yves Saint Laurent's Stefano Pilati. Kate had more help from her pals, with Sam McKnight tending to her hair and Charlotte Tilbury on her makeup. Stella McCartney, one of the guests, pitched in to create more looks for Kate. Kate Moss's wedding reception will feature the supermodel making a few outfit changes, including two of Stella's outfits. Stella also created a going-away suit for Kate to wear once the multiple days of fun have wound down at her Cotswolds estate.
