Nov 9 2009 - 8:00am You may already know that Tyra's made a
lifestyle change, thanks to a little healthy competition with her girlfriends that began last January. While being more active and committing herself to regular cardio sessions certainly helped her tone up, an episode of Tyra's show this week reveals that her slim-down is in large part due to working with a nutritionist and drastically changing her eating habits. With recent studies debating that weight loss has
less to do with exercise, and is more about food, Tyra's revelation seems a timely bit of healthy advice.

Maybe so but Tyra annoys me so much...her "Kiss my fat u know what" was more about insecurity (hers) than what she thinks/cares about eating disorders or body image.
1Anonymous, that is exactly what I thought when all that happened. If she'd truly been secure she would've shrugged off any comments and moved on.
2Haters. Go Tyra!
3i agree. nutrition is key. i've been working out consistently for months, since about june. and have been up and down in my weight this whole time. just last week i started to track and budget my calories and i'm already seeing a difference. i hope i can stick to it this time. the Lose It app really helps.
and i think Tyra can be ok with being who she is and still want to lose weight. just b/c she lost weight doesn't mean she doesn't have the strong body image.
4It sounds to me like she really did used to eat like total crap...she talked about how she used to eat a lot of fried/greasy foods and stuff like that. I have IBS myself and I know that if I eat crap like that, I get IBS attacks. I wonder if that's what Tyra has as well?
5Go Tyra !
6Being Healthy is number ONE !
Who cares about what people think
there just dumb and jealous.
Go Tyra !
When I eat healthier, I definitely have less stomach issues.
7I agree that weightloss is 80% diet & 20% exercise. Unfortunately, I don't like watching what I eat nearly as much as I do exercising!
