If you're looking to build lean muscle mass, taking oral contraceptives might be interfering with all your hard work. A recent study from Texas A&M University, involving 73 generally healthy women between 18 and 31, found that women not taking birth control pills gained 60 percent more muscle mass than women on the pill during a 10-week time period.
All the women in the study participated in the same whole-body resistance exercise training program and worked out three times a week under the supervision of exercise physiologists, but half were using oral contraceptives and the other half were not.

Alopecia is the absence or slowing of hair growth in an area of the body where hair formerly grew. This disorder has several causes, including physical damage to the hair shaft or follicles and fungal infections. Telogen effluvium, which is when the hair's growth cycle is disrupted temporarily by such temporary problems such as a chemical imbalance or stress, is another cause.

I love practicing yoga alone or in a class, with friends or strangers, indoors or outside on the grass, but I'm not so sure I'd ever strike a pose without my clothes. Naked Yoga classes aren't anything new, but lately they're becoming more acceptable.
I'm sure you all have your visions of what goes on in a Naked Yoga class, that it's one big group orgy.

Chili's is one of those chain restaurants that I'm sure we've all been to at least once. This bar and grill has just about everything from wings to soup, from fajitas to steak. With such a diverse menu, it's nice to see there are some healthier options to choose from like salmon, grilled chicken, and salads.
