As always, I am really enjoying the US Open right now. I love watching all the strong players battle it out on the court, but this year I am noticing an added element to the game: fashion.
Maybe it was because Anna Wintour has been frequenting the stands or because fashion week is just around the corner, but the tennis outfits are awesome this year.

Have you heard? Tennis is trendy. Ticket sales are up for the US Open, and participation in the sport increased 18.7 percent last year.

Maria Sharapova, defending U.S. Open champion, is one sharp dresser. Her red tennis dress for nighttime play (she has a different outfit dedicated for daytime play) seems more evening gown than tennis dress, to me.

Summer is almost over and scrolling through all the Fit Finds made me realize there is still so much fun to squeeze into the last little bit of summer.
First off, Macmeggy bookmarked a really cute tennis outfit and I realized that I have not played nearly enough tennis. Next date with my hubbie will not be a movie, I am going to make him "court me!"

Just when I thought that tennis gear could not get any cuter, I find another awesome dress from Adidas.
The Adidas YOC Dress ($48.99) does not look like a tennis dress if you ask me. I am loving the brown and pink (though it also comes in white and pink)!

When I think of a tennis competition I think of the quiet crowd and the Wimbledon line judges calling all the ladies "Miss." I do not think Disruptive. That is the name of the spring tennis collection by Serena Williams for Nike.

Spring is here and it's time for making love... not that kind of love, I am talking tennis here (geez, get your mind out of the gutter). One of my favorite things about spring is all the opportunity for spending time outside, which means it's time to dust off the 'ole tennis racket.
