Oct 9 2009 - 8:00am When I think of breast cancer survivors,
Sheryl Crow is one of the first people to pop into my mind. Three years ago, she was diagnosed with the disease and is now happy to say she's cancer-free. These days, this
down-to-earth, single mom is a breast cancer advocate, and in a candid interview with
Health magazine, she talks about ways she's taking care of herself to stay healthy.

now if she could only write albums like The Globe Sessions again, I'd be happy.... but I am glad she's taking such good care of herself and setting a good example of balance
1Agreed. She looks amazing, and it's good to hear that she's living such a healthy lifestyle!
2Eating antioxidants is a great thing to do to help prevent cancer and it probably helps your body recover from cancer/treatment much faster than if you don't eat them. I like that she's embracing such a healthy lifestyle. I think she looks great, especially since she's almost 50.
BTW, prunes rule! I like them too and my husband makes fun of me for eating them but I don't care; they're good!
3ditto Spectra, they're so sweet and rich and juicy
4mamasita no, don't say that! Wildflower is my all-time favorite album of hers! I do like Globe Sessions though. Her albums are pretty consistently great.
I really do think that if we were all eating more fiber, we would all be much more healthy
5Mmm.. I love prunes, they taste like candy!
