As the weather has gotten a bit chillier I have started wearing thin gloves during my runs after work with my husband. It's been great except that the gloves have made it hard to keep a grip on my water bottle, and last night I dropped it about four times. So today I have decided I need a hydration pack, especially since I am the type of runner that needs to stay constantly hydrated while running.

On my hunt for a hydration pack, I came across the Camp Inn Hydr8r Hydration Pack, which to my delight was on sale for $9.93! I am thrilled because I am not yet sure how much I am going to love running with something on my back so I don't want to invest a lot of money on a product that may not be the right solution for me. This particular hydration pack holds 100 ounces (or just under three liters), which means it won't be too heavy when it's full. I love that it comes in a bunch of fun colors, which means now my only issue is deciding which color I want.

Title Nine Sports End of Year Sale

Title Nine carries a great selection of fitness gear for women even though it is named after a piece of legislation. The clothing line's namesake, Title IX is an education amendment, "requires schools that receive federal funds to provide girls and women with equal opportunity to compete in sports."

Here's a stunning statistic before Title IX became law in 1972, only 1 in 27 high school girls played a sport. Today, 1 of every 2.5 high school girls competes in sports. Woo hoo - you go girls.

Of course, I think the catalog, and online models for Title Nine are awesome too. They are all real people just like you and me. Title Nine also has some of the best sports bras out there and one of the largest selections. Many Probiotics Short on Bacteria

With claims that they improve digestion, bolster immunity, and fight acne, it's no wonder that probiotic supplements are big business. Newsweek reports that sales of these supplements have more than quadrupled in the last 10 years. I will admit, I'm a fan these friendly bacteria found in yogurt and miso, but it's the quality of the supplements that's raising eyebrows.

Many popular probiotic supplements were tested by Consumer Lab, an independent agency that monitors vitamins, herbal remedies, and supplements not regularly tested by the government. The lab's findings are a bit startling. Some of the products contain as little as 13 percent of the amount of "viable bacteria" claimed on the products' labels, although most products do contain one billion organisms - the amount needed to register some health benefits.

When it comes to misleading marketing with these supplements, much of the problem stems from the fact that the term probiotics has no legal definition and can be used loosely by manufactures. Of the supplements tested, ConsumerLab ranked Advocare Probiotic Restore, GNC Nature Brand Best Super Acidophilus, and Jarrow Formulas Jarro-Dophilus as having the highest quality. Sale Alert: Patagonia

End of season sales usually happen mid-season and when it comes to cold weather gear this timing is great. You can get new Winter gear and use it for a couple of months before storing it for next year. Patagonia, known for its excellent snow apparel and base layers, is having a huge sale with items reduced 40 to 60 percent.

The sale items run the gamut, from snow jackets to wicking panties, from ski pants to cozy base layers. If you're planning on Spring skiing, now is the time to get some snow gear. I am digging the wind resistant fleece R3 Jacket (now $105, originally $175). Another great steal is the triple threat Micro Puff Hooded Jacket (now $135, originally $225), which is lightweight, wind proof, and water resistant.
