Flying through the air might scare the daylights out of some people, but I happen to find it pretty appealing. And when paired with a fitness element, it seems like it could be a really creative way to work out. Reebok and Cirque du Soleil have joined forces to design a new gym workout called Jukari Fit to Fly, which combines suspension and cardio training into a fun one-hour class.

The class is based on a piece of equipment called the FlySet, and the companies call it "a workout that gives the sensation of flying while strengthening and lengthening the body through cardio, strength, balance and core training." Sounds like fun, right? That seems to be the whole point, as the brands say their main goal is making fitness fun again for women.

Jukari will be rolled out to Equinox gyms in 14 cities around the world to start, and if the concept catches on, I think we can expect to see Jukari classes in more cities. Reebok is hosting a competition that awards you and a friend with a trip to try the Jukari Fit to Fly workout in a major European city. While I love having gym equipment at home, my one complaint is all the space it takes up. Since I don't have a designated fitness room, I try to buy things that can be easily hidden.

So instead of having several pairs of bulky hand-weights, think about investing in adjustable dumbbells. The Speed Pac ($46) gives you an entire set of weights in one, all you have to do is select your desired weight and then lift. You can choose between 2.5 lbs to 12.5 lbs of weight on each for a maximum of 25 lbs. total resistance. That is a lot of variation for under 50 bucks. Buy a set here.

The most annoying part about working out while traveling is lugging around all my workout gear. My running sneakers in particular take up a good bit of valuable real estate in my suitcase.

The Travel Trainer 5 Fitness Shoe ($79.99) by Reebok is a packable sneaker that allows you to take a sneaker along, while leaving the bulk behind. The shoe is made from breathable mesh and flexible synthetic upper in a technical athletic shoe style, with toe wrap over detail. There is a full lace up front, with quick pull lace loops. The best part? Tongue and heel snaps join to flatten shoe for packing. (Packing strap included.) While the Travel Trainer is not a shoe I would workout in daily, it's definitely a great option when traveling.

Scarlett Hearts Reebok, See For Yourself

A while back I had mentioned to you guys that Scarlett Johansson was teaming up with Reebok to create a signature collection of fashion-forward, athletic-inspired footwear and apparel. Today I was looking around on Reebok's site and I came across the collection.

I have not decided if I love the collection yet. It could be cute for just hanging around, but I am not sure I would hit the gym in her gear. On the other hand, I guess that's what they meant by athletic-inspired. Regardless, to see some of the collection just read more

What's the Deal With: STRAPLESS Heart Rate Monitors

In case you're not familiar with heart rate monitors, they usually come with a watch you wear on your wrist, and a chest strap transmitter that you wear around your chest, since it is after all a chest strap. This strap goes next to your skin (sometimes you have to wet it a little with saliva or water to activate it) and it reads your heart rate and transmits the beats per minute to the watch.

Heart rate monitors can be expensive, depending on how many bells and whistles you get, but these strappy heart rate monitors will give you a constant readout of your heart rate, whether you're moving or not.

Then there are STRAPLESS heart rate monitors, like this one from Reebok called the Fitwatch 10S Strapless Heart Rate Monitor Watch. Don't be fooled! These sound innovative and amazing, but here's the deal. They don't give you a continuous readout. You see those two little grey buttons above and below the screen? You have to stop moving and stand still, press down on those buttons, and after 2-10 seconds, it'll tell you what your heart rate is.

These may not be good for people who have low resting heart rates, irregular heartbeats, or poor circulation in your fingertips.

You may be okay with having to stop every time to check your heart rate just so you don't have to deal with that annoying and constricting chest strap (that can slide down your torso when you get sweaty). If that's the case, this Reebok model got some great reviews. It's easy to use, gives you just as accurate a reading as strappy heart rate monitors, looks more sleek and feminine than other bulky watches, and is only $63.07 through Amazon.

Peppermint Scented Sports Bra: Cool or Not?

Don't like the way you smell when you workout?

Well the Reebok Pulse Scented Short Bra Top ($30.50) releases the refreshing scent of peppermint when you workout. At first I was thinking, "What a waste of money," but now I sort of like the idea. Peppermint is a lot more pleasant than natural odors from the body and if nothing else, maybe it will give the inside of my gym bag a nicer smell. Plus it comes in orange, which you know I love.
