Get the Bod: Reese Witherspoon

Reese has been looking ever so lovely on the red carpet these days. She is getting a lot of press about her new bangs (which I love) and her svelte shape. Divorce can be rough on the appetite. Sounds like her emotional life was in shambles, and like the rest of us, she was comforting herself with food.

In Touch is reporting that after using food as a crutch to deal with the stress that accompanied her break with Ryan Phillippe, Reese is now eating a healthy, balanced diet. She eats lots of fruits, veggies, and whole grains. Also, she has upped her amount of exercise, and we've seen her out running a lot lately. It is estimated that she lost 12 pounds and gained some lean muscle mass.

Most important is her attitude change. She made a big decision that would cause anyone serious stress and now she's moving forward a rejuvenated and confident woman. More power to you, Reese!

"He Won't Buy Me an Engagement Ring"

My boyfriend had been hinting to me about getting married and starting a family. He has been divorced before but no kids. I don't know if he's joking or not but I think he's trying to tell me that he won't get a diamond ring for me. He told me he thinks a diamond ring is pointless because it's expensive and there's no meaning behind it. He would rather use the money for something else. My boyfriend is not cheap. He's generous and spoils me. We love each other very much but this is bothering the hell out of me. I have told him that a diamond ring is something that symbolizes marriage, eternity, and I like jewelry and diamonds!

I am 25 and he is 35 and this will be my first marriage if we do tie the knot. I know the ring isn't the most important thing in this relationship but it's part of tradition and I like jewelry.

"I'm Worried I'm Marrying Too Young"

This week's confession comes from our anonymous Confession Booth group in the TrèsSugar Community. Weigh in with your advice below.

I'm 20 about to turn 21, my boyfriend is 21. Weve been together for almost three years, we'll be moving in together in a couple months and plan to get married next year. We've never had huge problems, nothing to make us question our compatibility or future together. We are each other's first partners and we're a bit uneducated in the field of love and life experiences. But we're not immature or wild young kids, he's a cop and I'm in nursing school, it's not like we're trying to figure out our lives.

I'm just a little scared because I keep hearing getting married before 30 is too soon, you'll grow apart and all that. I also hear you should date at least seven people before you settle down. I know what I like in a man, I know my boyfriend is great but all this talk is worrisome. I love him and want things to work out, should we wait until we're older?

The only thing that would make me leave him is if he cheated on me, sure sometimes I get annoyed by him but we've never had problems. I think why wait until we're thirty when we're both mature and know who we are? I always hear, well you're different in your twenties, wild and just looking for fun. In your thirties you're an adult, mature. But I think that's how we are now, we're both on the same page. All this talk about divorce makes me scared to get married, but I really want to . . . what are your thoughts on age of marriage, about my situation?

"Perfect Boyfriend . . . Except For Three Major Problems"

I am 38 and dating an amazing man of 35. We've been together for about five months and despite his attempts to "take it slow" he is basically living with me. He still has his other place but is here every night except maybe once a month. We get along great, have a lot of laughs, and really seem to understand each other. Personally I'm madly in love in a way I've never experienced.

We have both been divorced for about 2-3 years and he admits to being incredibly hurt by his last girlfriend, who dumped him and got married to her ex (yep, that would hurt!). When we met, I was just out of a relationship that should have ended months prior and neither of us were really looking for anything serious, but I feel I was more ready than him. He just took me by surprise and swept me off my feet, and while he kept maintaining that we were taking it slow, it didn't go that way - within a couple months he was calling me his girlfriend by accident and like I said, staying with me all the time.
