Certain foods just keep me reaching for more, particularly salty snacks. Refusing to buy the food that makes portion control impossible for you is one way to go, but totally depriving yourself of the things you love is usually asking for trouble. Measure one serving of whatever it is that causes you to overeat and put the larger package away for the next time you have a craving.

A lot of people have been asking about the differences in overeating and bingeing. Just because you overeat, does not mean you have a problem bingeing. Splurging on three pieces of pizza (and laughing about it with your diet buddies) is not necessarily considered a binge and it really differs on a case by case basis.

Busy schedules can bump eating to the last item on the to-do list. If you ignore these symptoms chances are that when you can eat, you're beyond starving.

I'm in a lunch rut. For the last week I've been eating peanut butter and jelly sandwiches and an apple. I usually make a big dinner the night before so I can bring the extras with me to work but I've been having a lot of guests over, which equals no leftovers.
