It's Ultimate Frisbee Time

Warmer weather always makes we want to go for a nice long walk in the park. I always see college kids, running around barefoot, and tossing around a frisbee.

Some ladies are causal frisbee tossers, and others take the game much more seriously. Ultimate Frisbee has taken this carefree pastime to a whole other competitive level.

It's like a whole bunch of sports rolled into one. You play on a field similar to one used for football. It requires the athletic endurance of soccer, and the quick thinking and passing of basketball. It's played by 2 teams of 7 players.

In order to score a point, you need to catch the frisbee in the other team's end zone (kind of like football). You can run around unless you have control of the frisbee, then you need to stay put until you pass it.

If you want to play, you can always get a bunch of your buddies together for a friendly game, but you could also join a club, team, or game in your area.

Creative Craft Idea: Kid's Polaroid Wall

Create a miniphotographer in the family! If you're looking for a fresh arts and crafts idea, encourage your kids to get creative by making their own Polaroid wall. Not only will they get the chance to dabble in photography, but they'll also have a hand in decorating their own bedroom. The project can be as simple or as complicated as they'd like, depending on how many pictures they choose to take. Here are a few tips and suggestions to make sure things go smoothly:

Brainstorm special subjects. If your child isn't sure what to photograph, ask them about their favorite places, people, or objects. You'll gain insight into what they care about and at the end of the project, they'll have a collage of the things that mean most to them.
Organize a game plan to make it easier. To keep things simple, encourage your kids to take pictures of different colors, then help them create a color-coordinated masterpiece. Another idea? Pick a theme, like flowers, and go from there.
Think about display options. The Polaroids don't need to cover an entire wall. Instead, suggest that your kids display the pictures in a unique shape, like a heart or the first letter of their name.
Go the gift route. A personalized photo collage could make a great gift - maybe for grandma or a best friend? - so encourage your child to think outside the box for different possibilities.

Don't own a Polaroid camera? Not a problem. Use any printed photographs for the craft, even those printed at home on special photo paper. For a small, affordable Polaroid option, try the 300 Instant Camera ($90) and 300 Instant Film ($13).

How I Convinced My Hubby Not to Hate Running

My husband loves his bike and he loves his skis, but he's never been much of a slip-on-your-sneaks-and-go-for-a-run kind of guy. That is until now.

Wooed him with gear: To replace his cotton tube socks, sweatpants, and high school t-shirts, I got him some wicking socks, real running pants, and merino wool shirts. He was amazed that after a run there were no blisters or chafing from his loose pants, and he stayed relatively dry thanks to the wicking shirt.
Added a little friendly competition: It's human nature to be a little competitive, and my hubby is no exception. For a couple bucks, I downloaded the Nike+ GPS app to his iPhone. He loves that it keeps track of his time, distance, pace, and calories burned, and the GPS charts his route. The latest version of the app has the Nike+ Tag feature, which allows you to compete with friends. The object of the game is not to be "It," and in our case, whoever runs the shortest distance becomes "It." The competition has actually motivated both of us to run.

Harper Beckham Cheers on David's MLS Championship With Her Brothers and Mom Victoria

Victoria Beckham kept a close eye on her daughter Harper Beckham last night at the MLS championship held the Home Depot Center just outside LA! David and the Galaxy clinched a 1-0 win over the Houston Dynamo, and he was a crucial part of the victory. David set up a pass that lead to Landon Donovan's goal, and his on-field performance wrapped up a great season with the MLS. Victoria shared the family's enthusiasm afterward, tweeting, "We are so, so proud of David! What an emotional night and a great party!"

David had plenty of relatives and friends on hand to watch the game. Eva Longoria brought boyfriend Eduardo Cruz, while Gordon Ramsay was in a private box with David and Victoria's sons Romeo, Cruz, and Brooklyn. David's parents, Sandra and Ted, even flew in from London! David's next career move may bring him closer to Sandra and Ted, actually. David may sign with Paris Saint-Germain for the next season, and he and Victoria already are rumored to be shopping for Paris apartments. Another Reason to Play Online Games: More Sex, More Often

Video games may make you happy, but did you know that women who play online games have more sex than those who don't? This, according to new research by the Harris Interactive firm, which also says that online gamers are predominately women (55 percent vs. 45 percent of men) and are more active (inside and outside the boudoir) than non-online gamers.

Though the differences are slim, 38 percent of female online gamers say they have sex at least once per week, while 34 percent of non-online gamers partake in "business time" one or more times per week. This could be related to the fact that 61 percent of women play online games to relieve stress, and a relaxed gal is more likely to enjoy herself in the bedroom.

Gisele Bundchen and Tom Brady looked stylish in coordinated Autumn-ready outfits, including a Kate Spade bag for her, outside their new home in Boston yesterday. Tom and Gisele's son Ben Brady, meanwhile, took a stroll around town with his nanny. The couple reunited in New England after Tom's tough Patriots game on Sunday, which handed them their second loss of the season. While Tom spent time with his team last week, Gisele hit the beach in a bikini with son Ben in Jamaica where the supermodel reportedly also shot a campaign as the new face of Givenchy.

In years past, November would mean Victoria's Secret fashion show season for Gisele, though she doesn't partake in the festivities since retiring her Angel wings. Gisele also skipped the costume parties thrown by some of her fellow VS models of past and present - both Heidi Klum and Miranda Kerr threw Halloween bashes in NYC last night. Gisele may have passed on dressing up this time around, though perhaps her little guy Ben got in the spirit like other celebrity kids in costume for trick-or-treating around their Beantown neighborhood.
