The anticipation has been building and finally the opening ceremony of the Olympics is tonight! The program is reported to be three and half hours long and quite lavish. NBC was so impressed with rehearsals that they extended their coverage of the show and the show will air 7:30 ET/PT, instead of 8:00.

I always love watching the Open: It's the only Grand Slam tournament held in the US, which makes it feel more familiar even if I can't sit courtside.
When to Watch: Gymnastics
After tonight's opening ceremonies for the Olympics, the competition starts almost immediately and gymnastics are no exception. The men's qualifying rounds start Saturday, and unfortunately Morgan Hamm will not be competing. Yesterday he joined his twin Paul, a gold medalist in 2004 games, on the injured list and is out due to an ankle injury.

While the majority of you were not big fans of the Olympic gear designed by Ralph Lauren, there were many of you who were. For those of you who'd like to own Olympic goodies and sport the same clothes the Olympians will be wearing during the opening ceremony, Ralph Lauren is now selling the collection online.
