The workout mixes punching and kickboxing moves with squats and other conditioning exercises. &lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;Del Bene said LC follows a healthy diet, but she is limiting her caloric intake to 1,200 to 1,500 calories a day, portioned out into five or six small meals. While that is not dangerously low - an adult requires about 1,200 calories daily before the metabolism slows down as if there is a threat of starvation - I think I would feel hungry all the time if I ate like that every day, especially if I was exercising intensely. LC: I hate them both! But probably sit-ups.&lt;/p&gt;

LC: Yeah I started again, it&#039;s really hurting me!&lt;/p&gt;

LC: I just started doing more kickboxing which is really fun, and the way [my trainer] does it it&#039;s like a full body workout. Like squat, lunge, squat, lunge, or lower punches. It’s really like a full body workout, but I do a half hour of kickboxing and then he has me just do weights. &lt;p&gt;Because the ladies are often filmed poolside, &lt;b&gt;Shape&lt;/b&gt; asked Jarett for his tips on getting bikini-ready abs, and his answer is my favorite of the bunch. Instead of telling his clients to do &quot;hundreds of sit-ups a day,&quot; Jarett&#039;s philosophy is to constantly challenge the core through strength-training moves, and that by training the whole body, &quot;the abs will come.&quot;&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;Jarett incorporates basic fitness moves into his training regimen and combines cardio with strength training for an effective total body workout. When &lt;b&gt;Shape&lt;/b&gt; asked him how he helped Lauren get toned, he said, &lt;/p&gt;
&lt;blockquote&gt;&lt;p&gt;We started off doing circuit-training three days a week and she did cardio workouts on her own. In the past couple months, Lauren and Lo and I have been combining cardio kickboxing and circuit-training into one workout. We start with 20 to 30 minutes of high-intensity boxing. The girls hit my focus mitts and do jumps and kicks. Then we mix in weight moves, such as lunges, squats, push-ups and sit-ups. It&#039;s a great full-body workout that relieves stress and builds confidence.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;/blockquote&gt;
&lt;p&gt;These are all things that you can do with a workout buddy to mix up your routine and have more fun while getting fit. &lt;/p&gt;
