Jessica Has Tickets to The Gun Show, Do You?

We've been watching Jessica transform into one hard body these days. Maybe it's from tugging around all that LV luggage, but I am pretty sure it has more to do with her new movie, workout regime, diet and trainer. The girl's definitely got curves; curves that I'd be willing to bet you could bounce a quarter off of. But seriously, I can't get over those arms!

So if, like me, you're totally inspired by Jessica's guns to get out and start pumping some iron, here are a few suggestions for toning up your own arms:

Push-ups. If you're new to push-ups, then stick with a basic push-up. If you're familiar with push-ups, try elevating your feet on an exercise ball.
Also, you can add the side push-up to your routine if you really want to spice it up.
Right now I am loving this Plank with Reverse Row.
Love planks? Then try the elbow and side planks.
Another great and fun workout for the arms is this boxing move.
One of my all time favorite arm exercises is the alternating hammer curl.
For a few arm moves in a row, be sure to check out the starter arms video.

Jessica Simpson Bucks Tradition and Shuns Bride-to-Be Fitness Regimen

It's rare that I meet a bride who isn't focused on getting in shape before the big day. Whether it's adopting a healthy diet or ramping up workouts, many brides-to-be vow to get in shape before saying their "I dos." Keeping with this tradition, it was announced in February that Tracy Anderson was working out with Jessica Simpson before her upcoming wedding to Eric Johnson. This week, however, Jessica told Us Weekly that she's done following any sort of fitness routine:

"I just have to work out on my own. There is no regimen I need to follow. There's no diet I need to follow. I just need to do some things for myself and that's it. And that will make me feel the happiest . . . No exercise is fun! I am going to dance around my bedroom and hopefully lose some weight - and lift some weights and do what I can!"

Based on what Jessica said, it seems she may have parted ways with Tracy, or, better still, it's a savvy way to get the attention off of her body. Keep in mind that a few months ago she tweeted, "Yes, I am working out, but why is that worth any sorta [sic] press? I always take care of myself. Eric and I could get married right now in sweats!"

Whatever the real reason, it's nice to hear that she's not feeling a need to slim down before her wedding. Especially since the idea of a "bridal bootcamp" is becoming more of a reality than an option. What do you think?

Jessica Simpson Is Getting Wedding-Ready With Tracy Anderson

Jessica Simpson is the latest celebrity to join Tracy Anderson's growing list of A-list clients. The star is enlisting the celeb trainer, who is best known for working with Gwyneth Paltrow, to help her get in shape for her upcoming nuptials to Eric Johnson. Tracy has designed a routine specifically for Jessica's needs that includes dance aerobics, ab work, and strength training.

Tracy told Us Weekly that Jessica wants to "look healthy" and "is in the mind-set that this is a big, forever lifestyle shift." For the last few weeks Jessica has been working out four times a week for 75 minutes each time - that shows definite commitment! We also wonder how much Jessica's diet has changed since meeting her fiancé, who follows a vegan diet; cutting back on meat is often an easy way to lose weight. Whatever it is, the work is paying off: Jessica looks great on the cover of this week's New York Magazine.

Tracy Anderson Talks Pregnancy and Postpregnancy Fitness Tips For Celebs and Real Women

We recently sat down with celeb trainer Tracy Anderson to talk all about her new pregnancy DVDs, which are set to be released next month. (Stay tuned for some exclusive exercise routines Tracy created for FitSugar and LilSugar.) Tracy, who's expecting a daughter in May, opened up to us about her own pregnancies, her celeb clients, and how real women should approach pregnancy before, during, and after it. Check out the highlights of our intimate talk below.

On her pregnancy weight gain: "I gained 60 pounds with my son, and I've only gained 20 pounds during this pregnancy. I was 22 years old when I was pregnant with my son, and I actually discovered my method while I was pregnant. For the last 13 years, I've been giving birth to a business! My body is so tightly knit and so much stronger from 13 years of doing my method. It's so important that you get into good shape before you get pregnant, if you're lucky enough to plan it. Your chances of staying put together are better, and it's so much easier to get it back."

On her pregnancy diet: "With my son, I ate what felt natural, and that was cheeseburgers and milkshakes! I still eat what I crave, but I learned with my son, pregnancy is not the time for a total gorge fest. But even with this pregnancy, sometimes the only thing I can get down is a doughnut or an Arby's sandwich - and I don't even eat Arby's. I've had a lot of food aversions."

On her teenage son: I don't recommend waiting 13 years between children, but my son is so excited about the baby. One thing that's been really great about the age difference is that I've been able to see that my son is going to be a great man because he's been so sweet, nurturing, and protective during my pregnancy."

He'll have to leave their West Coast home base next week so he can shoot a cameo in New Year's Eve, while Julianne will have her own big-screen work to do when she stars opposite Tom Cruise and Alec Baldwin in the big-screen version of Rock of Ages.
