Ice cream is one of my weaknesses, and I always keep some in the freezer just so I can enjoy a spoonful or two when I'm craving it. Frozen yogurt, low calorie sorbet, or dairy-free ice creams are all good options, but sometimes you want the real deal. If you're looking for a healthier alternative, but don't want to give up on flavor or creaminess, check out Haagen Dazs Five.

Back in 1984, President Ronald Regan declared July National Ice Cream month, and who doesn't love a frozen treat in hot Summer months? You don't need to eat a handful of ice cream cones to celebrate; you can still cool off and indulge with one of these guilt-free treats (although technically one is a Popsicle).

The weather is heating up all over the country, except maybe here in the Bay Area. Warm weather means folks are reaching for cooling treats. Popsicles tend to be lower in fat than ice cream, but ice cream is cool comfort food.

At a time when many people are resolving to eat less ice cream, Baskin-Robbins has introduced its new line of more diet-friendly treats under the umbrella name BRight Choices. The new selection includes a variety of flavors of light, fat-free, dairy-free, and no-sugar-added ice cream, frozen yogurt, and sorbet.
The company's website lists nutritional information for the different types of treats and flavors — for example, the Premium Churned Light Ice Cream has 50 percent less fat and 20 percent fewer calories than Baskin-Robbins' regular ice cream.

PETA (People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals) is also hopping on the breast milk ice cream boat and are now urging Ben & Jerry's to make the switch from cow's milk to breast milk.

What would Summer be without ice cream? I know that eating that sweet creamy coldness every day wouldn't be the healthiest move, but every once in a while I've got to splurge. Ben & Jerry's is a popular brand because their ice cream is so scrumptious.

Flip through any Victoria's Secret catalog and you'll see Marisa Miller's gorgeous face and body gracing the pages. Marisa has always been one of my favorite models, I think it's because of the freckles, but it could be her amazing body, either way I was thrilled to see her on the cover of Fitness Magazine this month.
Miller opens up to Fitness about her, well, fitness.

OK, so we know that saturated fat isn't good for us. These fats are NOT essential to our bodies whatsoever, but boy are they tasty. Butter, ice cream, hot dogs, bacon - all dairy and meat products contain saturated fat.
