Last night I went to a fashion party at Carrots with FabSugar, and I came across the cutest favor idea: color-coded candy! The boutique always decorates in orange and they carried the theme over to create a gorgeously delectable candy spread. I plan on re-creating the idea for an upcoming party.

At the premiere of How To Lose Friends and Alienate People, actress Gillian Anderson looked gorgeously glowing. Her tousled hair looked healthy and shiny, while the natural makeup gave her a more sophisticated look than we've seen lately.
Gillian's makeup artist for the night was Paul Herrington, who is also Bobbi Brown's UK Head of Artistry. He aimed to create a "very natural, dewy finish." 
When my cousin and I went for sushi, we were seated at a tiny table with a wobbly leg that left my chopsticks rolling around. I just discovered a moth infestation in our kitchen. While I can handle a lot of creepy crawly things, finding moth worms in my nut mix is not okay. It turns out that in warmer climates, infestations like this are very common.

Last night at the 2008 Primetime Emmy Awards in Los Angeles, Ugly Betty star America Ferrera arrived wearing a flattering and sophisticated black strapless taffeta dress and an elegant diamond necklace. Her hair was styled in soft, classical waves and her makeup was a complement and a nod to old Hollywood glamour.
Nars makeup artist Vanessa Scali described America's look as "simple, sophisticated and classic."
