If you've seen Ridley Scott's Robin Hood, then you already know that Cate Blanchett is not your typical Maid Marion. Cate's portrayal is more "kick ass and take names later" than that of a damsel in distress. She's also majorly inspiring on the fitness front. Make Your Next Date a Fitness Date

Dating can definitely put a damper on your healthy lifestyle. All those drinks, popcorn at the movies, decadent dinners out, and late-night talks over gelato are bound to mess up your healthy routine.

I'm not saying you should forgo all that delicious food and never eat out, but why not throw some active dates in there as well? Here are some ideas:

Meet at your gym (he can use your guest pass) and you guys can work out before heading to dinner.
You could sit and talk at a coffee shop, or you can walk and talk instead.
Plan an afternoon hike on the weekend.
Go horseback riding. You can take a lesson together.
Take dance lessons together, or just go dancing.
Visit an indoor rock climbing gym.
Take a partner yoga class or other fitness class together.
Go ice skating at an indoor rink. Many arenas offer times for public skating, so call ahead to find out what times are available.
Rent bikes together and take a tour of the town you live in.
Play a game of tennis, golf (with no cart), football, baseball, or whatever. If you're not into playing a whole game, just play catch, go to the batting cages, or hit golf balls at the driving range.

6 Reasons Bachelor Ben's Season Will Be Craziest Yet

Host Chris Harrison always promises the current season of The Bachelor will be the most exciting one yet, but if last night's premiere of Ben Flajnik's season is any indication, this may take the rose for the craziest one. While we initially thought the old lady contestant would be the newsmaker, she turned out to be the least of the dramatic moments from the night. From this first episode alone we've gathered some clues as to how Ben's search for "the one" will unfold. Check them out below and let us know in the comments if you agree!

Possible girl-on-girl love: The first feud has begun, between Carrie-Bradshaw-wannabe Jenna and mean girl Monica, who's more interested in her new lady friend than Ben. Watch the video above to see this season's inaugural cat fight evolve into lesbian territory.
Drunk drama: Jenna's disastrous, alcohol-fueled night began with her forgetting the quote she was going to wow Ben with when they first met, creating a very awkward introduction. Then an extremely emotional Jenna spent the rest of the first night talking nonsense, fighting with Monica, and crying in the bathroom so long she was the last contestant to the rose ceremony. Miraculously, she still received a rose.
Brunettes for the win: As soon as the ladies started spilling out of the limos Ben made a comment that he liked the brown-haired beauties, then five out of the seven girls he booted were blondes (naturally or otherwise). Plus, we could've sworn the "in this season of The Bachelor" glimpses of his final lady showed a brunette.
Stripping down: According to the promos, Ben and one of his ladies (who looks like Courtney, the model) bare more than their souls to each other. We see the pair strip down to their birthday suits before frolicking in the ocean, which Ben tells People isn't a big deal. "I have no problem with male nudity. When a beautiful woman asks you to go skinny-dipping on the beach, you don't say no. Granted there are cameras around, but it's a bare butt. It's not that big of a deal to me."
Scent of desperation: If the over-the-top antics of this initial episode are any indication, this season is full of some desperate women. From the rapping to the soccer playing to the horseback riding to the contestant who brought her grandma for good luck, the ladies managed to find very creative ways to try to get the bachelor's attention. And it worked for some, the girl who arrived via horse, Lindzi, received the first impression rose!
Ex-files: In the promos for the season we see a woman surprising Ben in San Francisco, much to the chagrin of the other contestants. It could be an ex-girlfriend, past Bachelor or Bachelorette contestant, or maybe even Jennifer Love Hewitt!

Robert Pattinson Gets in a Bow-and-Arrow Battle With Jimmy Fallon

Robert Pattinson continued his domination over talk shows with a stop by The Late Show With Jimmy Fallon in NYC earlier today. So far this week he's been in the hot seat next to David Letterman and Jimmy Kimmel, but things took a turn for the playful during this evening's interview. Rob and Jimmy were equipped with matching bow and arrows and took aim at each other's body parts. Archery may be a new concept for Rob, but his girlfriend, Kristen Stewart, seems to have mastered the ancient sport, along with horseback riding and fencing, for her kick-ass role in Snow White and the Huntsman - check her out in Snow White and the Huntsman's first trailer.

Kristen is currently back in England shooting new scenes for the dark fairy tale, while Rob and Taylor continue promoting their fourth chapter in the Twilight saga. Kristen's name came up in conversation last night during a taped interview with Jimmy Kimmel. Rob tried to describe why Breaking Dawn Part 1 almost got a R rating, which led to an embarrassing moment with his parents, Richard and Clare, watching from the audience. For his visits to the Today show and Live With Regis and Kelly, Rob kept the conversation light and instead of recounting the details of his sex scenes with Kristen, he opted to tell a sweet story about adopting his dog, Bear.

Kristen Stewart enjoyed a break on the Welsh set of Snow White and the Huntsman this afternoon. She was decked out in armor for the battle scene, which took place on the foggy Marloes Sands beach. Kristen Stewart's horseback riding skills were in evidence as well, as the day's shoot required that she be in the saddle. She's in the UK working on one of two films being made about Snow White, while Robert Pattinson is back in the US. Rob paid a recent visit to London to see Kristen, but now he's in LA taking meetings and prepping for his next job. The third member of their Twilight trio, Taylor Lautner, is a little nearer to Kristen. Taylor's currently touring Europe to promote his thriller Abduction. It won't be long before Robert, Taylor, and Kristen are reunited in the run-up to Breaking Dawn - Part One's release on Nov. 18.

Summer weather inspires me to exercise outside, even though some days it's super hot and humid. I usually work out early in the morning when temps are the lowest, and if I'm done by 8:30 a.m., I usually beat the heat. Not only do I love not having to wear a lot of clothes, but there are also so many different ways to move your body, you'll never get bored.

With busy Summer schedules and the sometimes unbearable heat and humidity, 15 minutes may be all you can spare (or bear). It may feel like a short time, but some exercise is always better than none at all. Check out how many calories you'll burn in your mini-workout. All stats are based on a 130-pound woman.

Running at a pace of 6 mph (10-minute miles): 148 calories
Walking at a pace of 4 mph (15-minute miles): 59 calories
Biking at a moderate pace of 13 mph: 118 calories

Gone Glamping: Where Glamour Meets Camping

Even with my tips on how to rough it and still look red-carpet ready, some of you are still not into the idea of camping. I don't blame you either - pitching a tent, forgoing a shower, and smelling like campfire isn't for everyone. For those people, there's "glamping," which provides the glamour and amenities you'd expect from a hotel or resort, but puts you smack dab in the middle of the wilderness.

Guests get to feel close to nature and enjoy all the same outdoor activities like hiking, horseback riding, and kayaking, but at the end of the day fall asleep in a luxury heated tent. Make no mistake, it's not cheap - accommodations start at $80/night and, depending on the locale and amenities, can quickly move upwards into the hundreds. But if you are looking for a fitness-minded Summer trip this season and aren't into sleeping on the ground, one of these places may have your name on it.

Robert Pattinson and Best Bud Tom Sturridge Take Bear, the Dog, on a Walk!

Robert Pattinson and Tom Sturridge were together in LA yesterday for a walk. They brought along Rob's dog, Bear, who seemed to be leading the way. Tom headed west to LA after a stint in Chicago with girlfriend Sienna Miller. Sienna was in Illinois, so she could prepare for her upcoming film, Just Like a Woman, though she's moved to the desert in New Mexico to actually start filming her role as a belly dancer. Robert just wrapped up a stint on set, too. He was up in Canada for much of the last two months shooting Cosmopolis, and girlfriend Kristen Stewart was able to pay him a recent visit. Last week he attended the Cosmopolis wrap party to say bye to colleagues. Kristen's been in Hollywood lately, as well, focusing on her film work. She's prepping for a return to the big screen in Snow White and the Huntsman with yoga and horseback-riding lessons. Kristen and Tom will have lots of time together in the future, when they finally hit the press trail on behalf of their forthcoming movie On the Road from director Walter Salles.

Kristen Stewart Steps Out in Her Sweatshirt and Sunglasses

Kristen Stewart was in her usual casual gear yesterday in LA, shortly after a minor car accident that left her Mini Cooper damaged and forced her to unload her trunk before the vehicle was towed away. Kristen's fender bender followed an active Wednesday morning of horseback riding lessons, which she's been taking as part of preparations for her role in Snow White and the Huntsman. She did take a break from work, though, to visit Robert Pattinson on the set of Cosmopolis last week. He has since wrapped the project, and Robert Pattinson celebrated with director David Cronenberg at Toronto bar Charlie's Gallery last night.
