Eva Longoria Pairs Up With Bebe Sport

When I heard that Eva Longoria was teaming up with Bebe Sport to promote its new ad campaign, I was excited to see what they would come out with. After seeing the ads, I am not sure I would ever actually work out in any of this stuff. Even though some of the pieces are made from performance fabrics (many with wicking technologies), it's just not me. I did take a look at the complete collection, and there are a few pairs of pants and shirts that I thought were doable, just nothing jumped out at me from the new ad campaign.

Take a look and let me know what you guys think about the stuff. Most importantly, would you work out in any of it?

Get Your Butt in Gear: C9 Jacket by Champion

A lot of you were liking the little pink Nike jacket I posted about a while ago, but user lintacious tipped me off on another cool jacket that's a little bit cheaper.

The C9 Jacket by Champion is just as cute as it is useful. The best part? The sleeves have built in mittens (sort of), so when your hands get cold on especially chilly jogs, you can put your hands in the little pockets that attach to the sleeves. When your hands get hot, take them out and keep on with your jog. I love that you don't have to worry about keeping track of yet another thing while running. What's more? Get the Look: Minka Kelly's Lululemon Pants

John Mayer and his new super cute girlfriend, Minka Kelly, have been spotted getting into all sorts of things lately. However, none makes my heart go pitter-patter as much as seeing the two of them working out together. How cute are they?!

Get Your Butt in Gear: Sky Lab by Jackie Warner

I don't know if any of you guys were following the show Bravo's Workout with Jackie Warner, but I certainly was and that is why I am thrilled about this new clothing line.

Sky Lab by Jackie Warner was just launched at Paiva.com (a great site for cool workout gear). The clothes are pretty simple but very versatile. Oh, and I will say, Jackie is definitely one celebrity who I feel is fit to create a clothing line. So I am definitely ordering those cute capri pants and maybe even a strappy bra. I tend to like Jackie's style so I can't wait to see how the line develops in the future.

I am always on the lookout for cute and practical workout wear. One of my faves is lululemon. Right now I am really into all of their tops.

The tops are very colorful and flattering. Plus, they're great for yoga, Pilates, dance, going to the gym, biking - whatever you do to move your body. They are great for almost every activity under the sun.

You don't have to worry about your skin getting irritated of chafed, since these tops have flat seams. Plus they're made from comfortable material that wicks away moisture so you stay dry.

They have so many variations: some have shelf bras, some have removable cups, and some straps are adjustable. Basically with this many different kinds you are bound to find a top that offers the look, coverage and support you need.

I love supporting companies with the for women by women mentality -- There needs to be more companies like that if you ask me.

This is why I want to tell you about we pilates clothing, a cute, simple and comfortable (that's important) line of gear. The company got started rather simply as well: After a Pilates workout, two women were inspired to create the perfect life style line that could take them from their devoted practice to also running around town. Besides the fact that we pilates is run by women, I also like this line because while there are lots of fancy-schmancy clothing lines out there, sometimes you just want to throw on a soft cotton tee and go about your day. Whether you've been swimming at the pool all winter, or you're looking for a new suit to sport on the beach, check out these from Diamondback.

There are 2 models: One with thicker tank straps for added support, and one with spaghetti straps for a more feminine look.

Both are $64, and reversible, so it's like getting 2 bathing suits for one price. They're made of 2 layers of a nylon/lycra spandex blend so they'll be extra supportive and not at all see through (I hate that).

The tank version comes in red/black and navy/red, and the spaghetti strap suit comes in black/blue.

These bathing suits look like they cover everything modestly so while you're doing your laps, you won't have to worry about adjusting your suit because your boob or butt cheek is popping out. That's a huge plus in my book.

Get Your Butt in Gear: Joe's Pila-T-Shop

If you've been reading FitSugar, you know that I am mildly obsessed with finding functional (and cute) gear. I am not always loving the straight tank and crop pants look [boring] so when I find something fun, I like to let you guys know about it.

Joe's Pila-T-Shop makes these great shirts (tanks, tees, long sleeved, etc.) that really make a statement. No seriously, they make statements like, "Flow Like Joe" or "got powerhouse?" or "Welcome to Joe's Torture Chamber". For those of you wondering who this crazy Joe is, the shirts are referring to Joe aka Joseph Pilates, the father of Pilates (not cuppa', schmoe or husband of Mary as you may have been thinking). Anyone who has done Pilates can tell you that at times the reformer may truly seem like a torture chamber. Get Your Butt in Gear: Fit Couture

I am always on the look out for cool and comfortable gear to wear when I am working out. I just found Fit Couture and their clothes seems to fit the bill.

This Houston based, woman owned company has a pretty simple mission:

Provide the most exciting styles for women's fitness apparel available anywhere.
Offer the widest selection of color choices on the market.
Use only the best specialty fabrics and emphasize high quality construction.

The clothes are basic black with splashes of color. I love the colored waist bands, which are great if your black top and black pants are somehow different shades of black (which happens when you mix and match your "labels").

It is easy to imagine wearing their American made clothes to Pilates or yoga and then to the grocery store. Plus there are consumer reviews to help you figure out what piece is right for you and your workout. Fit Couture provides some helpful descriptive phrases: "bra friendly", "loose fitting (but not at all baggy)", and "fitted, but not skin tight."
