Backyard games are a way of making a BBQ fun, instead of sedentary. To keep yourself from lounging with beer bottle in hand, you should investigate Ladder Golf ($100), aka Blongo. The word golfis a little misleading because there are no clubs or holes involved in Ladder Golf, and sorry, no golf carts either.

You may have noticed it at the beach, your cousin's barbecue, or the graduation party you went to last weekend. It may just look like adults playing bean bag toss, but it's more than that: It's cornhole.
Cornhole has been, dare I say, sweeping the nation, and it makes a great Memorial Day activity because it's generally pretty portable and basically anyone can play.

Over the weekend I was suggesting that you get out and play a fun (and possibly slightly competitive) game of wiffle ball. Well, I just had to tell you about something I found that will make it even better!
Pink wiffle balls!

I love watching the Kung Fu Master compete against the Yogi. Since I know how to do yoga, I've always wanted to try Kung Fu. Truthfully I haven't yet because: 1) I don't like hurting other people, and 2) more importantly, I fear getting hurt myself.

I don't know what it is about playing badminton, but that game is just so funny to me. I love the dinky racquets, the flimsy net and of course the shuttlecock (I call it a birdy) - it seems to have a mind of its own!
The game is pretty simple.

Confession: I love playing video games — I especially love them on the Wii because I get to move, jump, and shake myself into a tizzy. Three fitness games were released for the Wii this last week and even though it's not like doing the real deal outside, the games are a fun way to burn calories and whip your bod into shape.
Nintendo Wii Fit Plus ($20) Wii Fit Plus is Nintendo's follow-up to the popular Wii Fit.

Athletes do some kooky things before a big game: former Red Sox player Wade Boggs would eat chicken before every game, and during the 1998 World Cup, Laurent Blanc would kiss the head of his goalkeeper before each kickoff.
I might not be a professional athlete but I have my own little rituals before heading out on a big hike or climb. I fill up at least three water bottles and make a small tower of rocks at the beginning of my trail.

When it comes to board games, Monopoly just doesn't always make the cut.
Enter Hotflash the Menopause game ($29.98), a hilarious way to have fun with a not so fun topic. There are spots you can land along the game called Raging Hormones where you’ll discover some little known facts about women, your body, perimenopause and lots of other stuff.

Now I am not really a big video gamer, but combine video games and exercising and now you've got my attention.
This is why I am loving the new ProForm 20.0 CrossTrainer Elliptical ($799.00). Not only is it a great elliptical for your personal use, but the console features 2 interactive games.
