&lt;p&gt;Because I love them so, I&#039;ve written a couple of love letters to fried green tomatoes over the years: the fried green tomato caprese &quot;salad&quot; I made without remorse, and fried green tomato BLTs, a longtime favorite. Green tomatoes are so good when fried, I think a lot of folks never try them other ways, like in a salsa or gazpacho. I really, really want to use them in recipes like that. I really do! But when I think of them fried, I just can&#039;t resist.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;It just so happens that fried green tomatoes work extremely well in a &quot;parmesan&quot; or a casserole of breaded, fried something (usually eggplant or chicken) layered with tomato sauce, mozzarella, and parmesan cheese. The tomatoes are a little tangy, so they add a lot of character to the dish, but they&#039;re also a lot easier to fry than eggplant, which always soaks up so much oil. The tomatoes stand up to frying and still soften without a lot of oil, so you actually end up with something quite a bit lighter here than eggplant parmesan. Which is a total lagniappe, if you ask me.&lt;/p&gt;

To simplify this, surfaces like concrete and pavement will cause a greater reaction back into our joints and legs than an energy absorbing treadmill. This not only makes us work harder, but will tire us out faster and cause greater stress on our joints.

 <title>Flying Cars and Other Future Tech the Movies Got Right </title>

Requirements for piloting are pretty tame: passing a test and logging 20 hours of flight time. You can get a closer look at the Transition at this week&#039;s New York Auto Show, but expect those preorders to roll out within the next year. &lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;Though many obstetricians recommend holding off on exercise until six weeks postpartum (longer for a C-section), every woman is different. Here are some workout tips for brand-new moms.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;ul&gt;
&lt;li&gt;&lt;b&gt;Check with your doctor before exercising:&lt;/b&gt; How ready you are depends on how well you&#039;re healing. Most doctors recommend avoiding exercise until the bleeding stops, but may give the green light for low-intensity workouts, such as short walks or stretching. &lt;/li&gt;
&lt;li&gt;&lt;b&gt;Start off slow:&lt;/b&gt; Don&#039;t expect your body to run 30 minutes straight like it did before you were pregnant. Aside from the stress of the actual birth, lack of sleep and low energy levels associated with nursing offer new moms little get-up-and-go. Start with low-impact exercise like walking, yoga, or swimming. A 10-minute walk around the block every day for a week (or longer) will feel like plenty. Gradually increase the intensity and length of your workouts as your strength and stamina increases.&lt;/li&gt;
&lt;li&gt;&lt;b&gt;Invest in some baby gear:&lt;/b&gt; If you find it emotionally difficult to leave your baby, exercise with them. There are hundreds of baby carriers out there to enable you to walk with your baby.
