Get Your Butt in Gear: Everlast Energy Studio Pant

If you're looking for a good workout pant that will work for basically any activity you're trying, the Everlast Energy Studio Pant ($32.99) is a good buy. They're cute and sporty with a little additional flare, but not over the top like some other fitness clothes I've seen recently.

I wore them to the gym and the little bits of color (ruby and purple) spiced up my outfit, especially since most of my workout clothes tend to be black, gray or navy. The pants were very comfortable, moved well and breathed well, so I was overall very happy wearing them. An added bonus is that they have a cute little pocket perfect for most lightweight and small mp3 players. The price is not bad at $33 and I would definitely recommend them if you're looking for something simple but cute to add to your collection.

Doctor Who Takes Top Award and Talks Eleven's Status

Hear that sound of distant applause in the air? It's our beloved cast of Doctor Who getting the recognition and accolades we've long known they deserve. At last night's National Television Awards in the UK, both Matt Smith and costar Karen Gillan took home awards for their work on the show. Matt won best drama performance: male for his portrayal of the Eleventh Doctor, and Karen Gillan received best drama performance: female as companion Amy Pond.

In an interview at the event, Matt confirmed the Eleventh Doctor isn't going anywhere right now. When executive producer Steven Moffat recently said the Doctor's friends Amy and Rory Pond would exit the show for good sometime in the next season, rumors swirled Matt would also soon be leaving. During last night's award excitement, Matt explained that he has no plans to leave the long-running BBC classic.

Breaking Dawn Part 1: Horrifying on Multiple Levels

Let's be honest: the standards for Breaking Dawn Part 1 are not high. All we want as fans is a satisfying conclusion to an addictive guilty pleasure, and considering the titillating content of the fourth book (Wedding! Sex! Hybrid vampire baby!), the film version has to do very little to please its audience. Sadly, it feels like Part 1 is grossly imbalanced; certain aspects are lazy while other scenes are over the top. Though Breaking Dawn has the most theatrical elements of all the movies, the film is disappointing - and often, just plain bad.

The movie begins with Edward and Bella's wedding, and then we follow them on a honeymoon full of passion - and problems. The couple manages to have sex for the first time, but Edward's vampiric strength leaves bruises all over Bella's body. After they overcome that hurdle, Bella faces another one when she makes the classic mistake of eschewing birth control because she's assumed her vampire mate is shooting blanks. He's not, though, and Bella's suddenly pregnant, but no one is quite sure what's growing inside her. Science and legend have no explanation, but everyone can see that Bella is getting weaker by the second. Unless Edward can turn her into a vampire during childbirth, she may be gone forever. It's a pretty wild premise that was shocking to read, and even crazier to see - and not in a good way. To read about my issues with the film, just keep reading.

A Guide to Fall-Friendly Dried Flowers

With all of life's weddings, anniversaries and birthdays, a floral arrangement can carry sentimental value you're just not willing to compost. Instead, dry out your special flowers and turn them into lovely home accents. Dried flowers, although beautifully macabre, don't have to be a dark Halloween centerpiece or potpourri, there are many creative, yet Fall-friendly, ways to transform plant remnants into something everlasting. 4 Ways to Dry Flowers

Air dry - Air drying is the most common and easiest way to dry florals. Tie a small bundle of flowers together with twine or ribbon. For the best results, one bundle should consist of one or similar-size flowers; large flowers work best when dried by each individual stem. Hang the bundle or stem upside down from hooks, rods, hangers, etc., in a well-ventilated area out of direct sunlight. Tip: cutting off the leaves before you hang will expedite the process.

Water dry - It may seem counterproductive, but placing stems in a few inches of water and letting the flower absorb the water will eventually dry the plant to the point of your desired crispiness. This process works especially well with hydrangeas, hybrid delphiniums, and acacia.

Oven dry - I know it sounds weird, but flowers like marigolds and chrysanthemums dry well in well-ventilated convection ovens. Allow the stems to dangle between small slots on a rack, and just be sure to keep the temperature under 100 degrees. The process will take several hours, but keep a careful eye on the oven!

Microwave dry - The most tumultuous of all the techniques, heat those succulents up via your household microwave. Place them on a paper towel (and don't overlap) and nuke them up on medium high for one minute. If the flowers are still moist, change the paper towel, wait 10 minutes, and repeat the process. When cooled, store in a covered container.

While you're contorting your body into a new crazy pretzel, or trying to focus inward to calm your mind, the last thing you want to worry about is the definition of a word your teacher keeps on throwing out there. No need to fret - we've got you covered with a few of the key technical terms to help the flow, and early understanding, of your new practice.

Asana (pronounced ahs-ah-nah): Very simply put, the asanas are the physical part of yoga. The asanas refer to all the body positions or yoga poses we hold and move through during the course of a yoga class.
Bandhas (pronounced bahn-dah): Bandhas are body locks or places where energy tend to leak out. For now, I'm going to save you the hassle of stressing out about the bandhas. These energy locks are way more about the mind than the physical body and therefore should unfold naturally from a devoted practice. Forcefully holding your bandhas, or contracting random muscles where you think they live, can really mess up the natural flow of your life force and screw with the healthy benefits you're hoping to achieve with yoga. Remember when Yoda said, "There is no try?" That's kind of the deal here. Be open to this concept, but don't push it.

Larger sites like Match and OkCupid have what seems like endless questionnaires to fill out. Some are free and others come with a whopping bill.

True Blood's new spirit sparks intrigue

"I think the ghost was called to baby Mikey due to whatever Arlene and Holly were doing out in the woods in season 3 when she was asking for Holly's help in getting rid of the baby.
