Blueberries are low in calories and high in antioxidants, so they definitely fall into the super food category. I always throw a few on my cereal when I have them off hand, but I never thought about throwing them in a salad too.

That is why when I found this blueberry chicken salad recipe, I just had to share it with you all. Especially since it sounds tasty along with being healthy and rich in antioxidants!

1 cup fresh blueberries
1/2 cup crumbled feta cheese
2 tbsp chopped pecans, toasted

2 tbsp apple cider vinegar
2 tbsp honey
3/4 tsp salt
1/4 tsp black pepper

Taste the Rainbow: Purple

Purple-hued fruits and vegetables are works of art. It's surprising just how many exhibit this bold color profile. I grabbed a bright purple head of cabbage, a box of blueberries (a personal favorite), an elegant Japanese eggplant, and a seasonal Spring onion. Not only did they make a fun photograph, but each can be enjoyed in so many different ways. For ways to enjoy these purple fruits and vegetables, just keep reading.

10 Healthy Pantry and Fridge Staples For Busy People

If a busy schedule makes it hard for you to make healthy homemade meals and refuel yourself after a hard workout, here are 10 shopping tips to keep in mind when combing through the supermarket aisles. These shopping habits will make it easier for you to eat healthier and prepare home-cooked meals that will fit into your busy schedule.

Keep canned tuna and/or beans in your pantry at all times to quickly throw protein onto a salad or in pasta.

Have whole-grain crackers, and have at least one of these proteins ready in the fridge: nut butters, cheese, or sliced turkey.

Eggs, ground beef, or veggie sausages can be quickly sauteéd for a fast dinner protein.

If you're constantly throwing out stale snacks, opt for these foods that have a longer shelf life: dried fruit, corn kernels (for homemade popcorn), and nori seaweed.

Choose fruits and veggies that require little preparation. You can quickly steam green beans and kale. Berries like raspberries, blueberries, and blackberries can be thrown on top of Greek yogurt, in a smoothie, or on top of salads.

For those planning to celebrate the nuptials in a British way, there are many options to choose between. One could indulge in something boisterous, like a fun pub crawl, or for the true Anglophile, a slightly more elegant afternoon tea is in order! We were able to sample the afternoon service at one of NYC's most storied hotels, the St. Regis, last week for a primer on how to have the perfect tea. Opting for a prix fixe experience is a real treat, but it would also be relatively simple to replicate at home. A few pointers on how to host the perfect tea, after the jump.

Kerri Walsh: Survival Tips For a Party Weekend

The following post was written by Olympic athlete and mom Kerri Walsh, two-time gold medalist in beach volleyball.

July 4th weekend means fun in the sun and barbecues galore. It's pretty much impossible to resist burgers and hot dogs fresh off the grill or an ice cold soda just out of the cooler, so I've put together a few easy-to-remember and satisfying tips that always help me stay healthy over the holiday.

Downsize: Place your food on a dessert plate instead of a large-sized dinner plate. It will keep you from overdoing on the potato salad and if you're still hungry, you can always go back for more.

Eat Like an American: Red, white, and blue foods like strawberries, blueberries, and grilled chicken are packed with nutrients, taste great and will keep your waistline trim.

For more easy to put to practice tips, keep on reading.
