I knew Pokémon was an international phenomenon, but did you know that All Nippon Airways (ANA) has Pokémon airplanes? Serving both international and domestic flights, Pokémon jets are plastered with tons of Pokémon characters including Celebi, Plusle, Minun, Deoxys, Torchic, Jirachi, Latios, Latias, Pikachu, and the Gonbe. Featured on Joystiq and Kotaku these colorful airplanes boast flight attendants wearing Pokémon aprons and head rests covered with Pokémon designs. Ana and Mia: My Eating Disorder "Friends"

If you're searching for information on the internet about eating disorders, you're bound to come across 2 girls' names, Ana and Mia.

I've seen it phrased, "My Life With Ana," "Me and Mia," "PRO-Ana," and sadly, "Mia hates You." No, these aren't real girls' names. Ana is short for Anorexia and Mia is short for Bulimia. These nicknames are a way to personify eating disorders, and to make it easier for people to talk openly about them.

Since it is National Eating Disorders Awareness Week, I thought you should know that there are so many "PRO-Ana" videos out there that sadly promote eating disorders. I found one video of a girl who was sick of it. She recovered from eating disorders herself, and made this video to reveal the true picture of what it means to go through it.

I have a few more things to say on this subject, so

People with eating disorders suffer through a constant battle with self-hatred and obsess about food, calories, grams of fat, and their weight. Their lives become about dieting, binging, purging, and refraining from food all together. It's kind of like a self-punishment for not being perfect. Avalon Hills is located in Utah, Fairwinds in Florida, Monte Nido in California, and Renfrew in Pennsylvania. Go for the gold: Apply metallic pigment or shadow to your eyes, suggests Ana Cruzalegui from UK-based lash brand We Are Faux, and pair it with fluttery falsies like their Kitsch lashes ($20). "For added drama without looking like a Studio 54 regular, dab some fine glitter on the center of your lid - just a touch will do the trick," Cruzalegui advises. It's time to welcome in a whole new year, but before we say hello to 2012, there's one final thing to get right for 2011: your makeup. New Year's Eve is often a celebratory occasion that goes well on into the wee hours, so before you step out in your finest frock, check out these tips on how you can keep your makeup looking fresh the whole evening - or morning - through.

For your complexion: "It's all about layering," says Ana Cruzalegui, CEO of British-based We Are Faux. Enhance your makeup's resiliency by applying the following three products in this order: a primer prefoundation, a concealer under the eyes and on areas that need a touch more coverage, and a sheer powder to set.
For eyes: "A cream shadow applied on the lids before you apply powder eye shadow is great for a long night," Cruzalegui explains. She also suggests using water-resistant mascara and eyeliner (MAC Chromaline liner is a favorite) for increased staying power.
For lips: If you opt for bright lip color, try something with a matte finish. "It lasts longer and is easier to fix throughout the evening," Cruzalegui advises. "And who knows? You may find yourself under the mistletoe."

Bar Refaeli had her third night in a row out on the town yesterday when she stepped out to celebrate the opening of Roberto Cavalli's new Cannes boutique. The designer, who recently hosted bikini-clad Elisabetta Canalis on his yacht, gathered famous friends for drinks and dinner on the vessel following a small shindig at the store. Elisabetta was also on hand to toast Roberto, as were Brooke Shields and Rosario Dawson. Bar kept the fun going by hitting an afterparty at the Martinez Hotel, where she met up with her fellow models Irina Shayk and Alessandra Ambrosio. The evening wrapped up with a tweet from Bar that said, "Nothin' better than taking my makeup off, shower, pajamas, bed and book!" She needs the sleep between her whirlwind film festival schedule that has included hitting the red carpet at The Beaver premiere, a bash on Paul Allen's big boat, and attending a Chopard party with Jude Law and Naomi Campbell. Bar's not slowing down in the wake of her split from ex Leonardo DiCaprio, who was spotted with Blake Lively sparking rumors of romance. Today, Bar was back to having fun and she shared a photo of herself lounging on a yacht in a mismatched bikini.
