Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes matched in black and gray out to dinner at Nobu in NYC yesterday, although Katie showed off some of that Suri flare with red shoes. You guys
won't be too upset if the Cruises are a little less visible after the curtains close on All My Sons this Sunday, although Tom will probably still make his presence known even without Katie on the Golden Globes red carpet. Maybe we'll even get to hear him gush about his girls on stage if he wins best supporting actor — place your
ballot bets now.
As usual, Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes were all over NYC with Suri over the weekend. We have grown accustomed to seeing the Cruises around Manhattan every single day since rehearsal started, but this Sunday marks her final performance for All My Sons. While they may stick around NYC for a bit, their more permanent home is in LA — will you miss seeing Katie and Suri in the Big Apple everyday?
While there are a zillion World War II movies out there already, I kept an open mind going into the Tom Cruise star vehicle
Valkyrie. Sure, this is a movie that has been dogged by bad press from start to finish (even due, in part, to the fact that Cruise is a Scientologist) but I can see that there is a fascinating movie to be made out of a German resistance movement involving Nazi officers in Adolf Hitler's inner circle.

Valkyrie.
Suri Cruise helped Katie Holmes sign a few autographs for fans last night after yet another performance of All My Sons, but today she was out and about by herself. Before meeting up with his girls, Tom continued promoting
Valkyrie with a stop at
Regis and Kelly early yesterday morning. Tom's busy schedule has been taking up much of his time lately, and it's
apparently the reason he didn't bring Connor to his first big
premiere of Seven Pounds on Tuesday.

premiere on Monday night. Dave and Tom took a trip down memory lane, looking at photos of Tom as a high school wrestler, friend of Paul Newman, and of course, a family man. Tom kept talking about his wife and kids this morning on Ryan Seacrest's radio show, where he opened up about Katie's birthday, their holiday plans, and Suri.

Tom Cruise made a rare solo red carpet appearance at the NY premiere of
Valkyrie last night but by the after party Katie was by his side in
purple eyeliner. It's been a quieter publicity whirlwind for Tom this time as he carefully treads the line of talking about his life but not causing any controversy. Yesterday he and Matt Lauer once again showed it's
all water under the bridge and Tom is quick to repeat that his fall from grace three years ago was more than he bargained for,
saying, "As I've said, I want an adventurous life.
Katie Holmes and her parents took Suri Cruise around NYC and to The Nutcracker this weekend while Tom Cruise posed with fans out promoting
Valkyrie. Tom recently revealed he needs to work on his acting skills for his toughest critic, Suri, who
didn't believe him as Santa Claus last year. As for her Christmas gifts under the tree, Tom said Suri
loves dolls and stuffed animals, which isn't such
a big surprise.

The Cruise family was bicoastally divided yesterday with Katie and Suri shopping in NYC while Tom stopped by Jimmy Kimmel Live in LA. The two will just have to celebrate Tom's
Golden Globe nomination when they're back in the same place. Ever the friendly celebrity, Tom stopped to sign some autographs, but unfortunately one fan got a little overzealous last month, and
Tom was just granted a restraining order.
