Tom Brady looked pretty mobile emerging in the West Village outside his and Gisele's place yesterday afternoon. Meanwhile, Gisele was doing her part to create energy for the batteries that will illuminate the 2009 at the end of the Times Square ball drop. Even without his QB expertise, his Patriots are still in the running for the playoffs after a season without their leading man.

Tom Brady spent the week recovering in LA after last Monday's knee surgery, though it looks like one special guest got him out and on his feet already. Tom's son John Moynahan came to visit at the end of last week, and was spotted with Tom's girlfriend Gisele Bundchen on Sunday afternoon. The supermodel brought the 1-year-old to visit dad while a few hours south in San Diego, his Patriots were preparing for a bad Sunday Night Football defeat.

Tom Brady emerged for a little shopping hand in hand with Gisele Bundchen in New York City yesterday afternoon. The injured QB has been holed up for the past few weeks since that season-ending hit in the opening game — though the torn ACL isn't keeping him from hobbling out to join his girl for a trip to the Rag and Bone store. Surgery is in the near future for the sidelined football star but if he's got hot Gisele playing nurse, well, methinks he'll be on bed rest as long as he can.
