Whether you're a novice or a pro cycler, celebrity or average joe, Spiderman or non-superhero, biking can cause unwanted aches and pains if you're not careful about your form.
Judging by his gear, Tobey looks like he's definitely done this a time or two in the past, but it never hurts to review the basics of proper form so here are a few tips to help prevent common aches and pains on your next bike ride:
- Lower back pain can get severe when you tuck your hips under and don't maintain a neutral spine (slight inward curve of your lower back).
- Neck pain worsens when you round your back and slump your shoulders. Retract your shoulder blades and stretch your neck often during your ride.
- Wrist or forearm pain can be caused by not maintaining a proper line between your forearm, wrist and hand.

Well designed props make a yoga practice better. A slippery yoga mat can just about ruin the calming affects of your down dog. Maybe a patented, smartly designed yoga mat signed by a celebrity would make your practice stellar?
