Dear DrSugar,
I have a problem that might seem a little odd, but I am not dieting and I am losing too much weight. I am training for a marathon, and exercise daily about 2 hours Monday through Friday (running outside mixed with swimming, spin class, body pump, and running on Treadmill).
Dear Fit,
I'm trying to lose 15 pounds before my wedding this Summer. I don't have a lot of time to work out each day, only about 30 minutes, so I was trying to think of ways to burn more calories per workout. What do you think about running with dumbbells?
Yesterday DrSugar answered the health related portion of this question.

Owning an iPhone is pretty cool — in large part because there really is an "app for that," especially in the health and fitness category. There are apps that count calories, motivate you to do push-ups, map your runs, and provide yoga sequences. I dare you to think of anything fitness related and not find an app for it.
Although I'm not a fan of Acasica's title choice for its DVD series being "Weight Loss," I enjoyed Weight Loss — Cardio Sculpt and Weight Loss — Cardio Kick workouts. The latest in the series, Weight Loss — Pilates ($15), didn't disappoint either.
Unlike most Pilates DVDs, which focus on mat exercises, this workout contains some cardio.
After spending much of my day telling other people what to do — in a nice way of course — it's oddly comforting to have my miCoach Pacer ($139) tell me to speed up or slow down when I am out for a run. The miCoach is Adidas's answer to the Nike+ running system, but it offers real time audio coaching. This means a voice, you select the accent (I have chosen British male and like to think James Bond is coaching me), interrupts your music to let you know if you're running too fast, too slow, or just right for the selected workout.
Have you started keeping a food journal yet for this week's Get Fit For 2010 weekly challenge? We've got a cool food journal that you can print out, but if you're a tech geek like me you might be scratching your head at the idea of putting pen to paper. Try Lose It instead — a free iPhone app that helps users manage their weight by tracking their calorie intake.
