When I think of Winter, I think of cold weather, white snow, snowflakes, ice, and fireplaces. I love this season since there are so many fun things you can do like ice skate, ski, snowboard, winter hike, and snowshoe. I don't know about where you live, but Dia de los Muertos (Day of the Dead) is big here in California. It has evolved from an ancient Aztec ritual for honoring the dead. Celebrated in different ways throughout Latin America with marigolds, skulls, and skeletons being prevalent symbols of the day.
