Reese Witherspoon and Jake Gyllenhaal looked down to earth as usual shopping on Melrose yesterday. Jake is still keeping his long Prince of Persia hair tucked under hats, but Reese seems smitten no matter what's on top of his head. Reese is up for a statue at tonight's People's Choice Awards and whether or not these two hit the red carpet, we have a feeling we know which nominee would get Jake's vote.

Reese Witherspoon went for a jog with a friend around her neighborhood in LA yesterday, while Jake Gyllenhaal headed to Petco to pick up a few treats for their doggies. On Sunday night, Jake taught Reese about basketball at the Lakers game, but she's clearly got her own fitness routine down cold. The couple has been spending plenty of time together before their busy schedules pull them away again, but having time apart can just make them long for those cozy date nights.

Reese Witherspoon and Jake Gyllenhaal went on a date to the Staples Center in Los Angeles yesterday to watch some basketball. Jake's team the LA Lakers were playing the Portland Trailblazers, and won 100-86 so there were plenty of smiles from the loved up couple during the game! Just before Christmas they celebrated Jake's birthday in LA, and more recently they were seen hanging out with Robert Downey Jr and his wife Susan for a hike in California.

When she's not jogging or working outside the gym, according to the latest issue of Shape magazine, she takes YogaHop classes. These 90-minute workouts incorporate yoga poses with booming hip-hop, rock, and pop music. The class feels more like a dance party than an exercise routine, yet it's still as spiritually uplifting as traditional yoga classes.

Jake Gyllenhaal was back in LA last week to spend time with Reese Witherspoon and her family before his 28th birthday on Friday. It was rumored that Reese had a big bash planned for her man, but on the actual day they kept things to just a party of two. Reese took him to Giorgio Baldi for a romantic dinner, complete with wine, candlelight, and lots of gazing into each other's eyes.
