Apparently, FDA approval can wait. This week, the Coca-Cola company will begin selling a diet drink sweetened with the somewhat controversial herbal supplement stevia. For three diet flavors of its Odwalla juices, Coke will use the Truvia brand of sweetener, which it developed in partnership with Cargill earlier this year.

It can be pretty overwhelming when you see the rows of energy bars at the grocery store, but I just found an awesome one made by Odwalla that I think you'd like too. I bought a box of the Peanut Crunch flavor, which are the same as the single bars you can buy, but they're half the size. That means they're only 120 calories instead of 240, so they're perfect for a light snack before or after a workout.

I love Odwalla products since they contain wholesome ingredients and are full of flavor. I'm especially a fan of their Nourishing Food Bars. You can buy them at health food stores individually or by the box.

We often think of juices as being healthy, but in reality, a big cup of juice can also be a big cup of calories. Because juices are super-concentrated and often have added sugar, they can be much higher in calories than their fruit counterparts. For instance, one large orange contains 86 calories, while an eight-ounce glass of OJ has 110 calories.
