Shakira and Alicia Keys Get Hit With World Cup Fever

If you still haven't been struck by World Cup fever, just check out how excited Shakira and Alicia Keys are to be at the opening game between South Africa and Mexico. Shakira's been live tweeting from the games, and so has will.i.am from the Black Eyed Peas, and John Legend too. I love seeing their pics!

Between the World Cup and NBA Finals, many of us will be spending a good amount of time inside this weekend. And since it's super easy to overindulge while watching TV, keep a batch of healthy snacks on hand like kale chips and polenta pizza instead of the usual game-watching fare. Also, see if there is anywhere near your home hosting a public viewing of the games and make a point to walk or bike there. Besides, nothing beats watching a game with a big group of people!

Being that my hubby is entertained by anything sports related, the NBA basketball finals have been playing on our TV a lot lately. Always a fan of a close game, I got roped in and watched last night's playoff competition. It's tied between the Lakers and the Celtics - the hoops rivals of my youth - making the games super exciting. Celebs Leonadro DiCaprio, Justin Timberlake, and even Kim Kardashian are following the action on the court. Are you?

Jennifer Lopez made a low-key departure from dance rehearsals in London Friday night. The American Idol judge is on a break from the show this Summer before auditions begin again in the Fall, and she's taking advantage of the extra time to focus her energy back on music, family, her new reality show Q'Viva the Chosen, and philanthropy. J Lo and Marc Anthony stepped out in black-tie attire for the Hope For Children Gala in NYC last week before Jennifer and their twins, Max and Emme, continued east to London. Marc is also busy promoting the new season of TNT's Hawthorne, and he'll be singing the national anthem at Sunday's NBA finals in Miami. While he's on center court in the states she'll be rocking hits from her new album LOVE? alongside Enrique Iglesias, Nicole Scherzinger, and Cee Lo Green and more from the UK.

Justin Bieber and Selena Gomez brought their PDA tour to a luxury box at Dallas's American Airlines Center last night. The superstar couple was in Texas to watch game four of the NBA finals to watch as the home team, the Mavericks, beat the Miami Heat and tied the series with two wins each. Selena and Justin were just in LA, where they attended Sunday's MTV Movie Awards. Selena looked great in a Giambattista Valli minidress as she walked the carpet, but Justin decided to skip the press line and just appear on stage. Justin will have another chance to pose for photos today in Nashville at the CMT Awards. If Selena goes along, it will be the latest stop on their whirlwind travels together that included a romantic Hawaiian vacation and a visit to the Biebers in Canada. All the time with her boyfriend may have inspired Selena to write her new song "Bang Bang Bang," which many think was inspired by Justin.
