The
2008 London Film Festival kicked off last Wednesday and ever since there have been all kinds of screenings and film-related events taking place across the capital. On Friday night Liam Neeson, Laura Linney and Romola Garai attended the premiere of their movie The Other Man, while Peter O'Toole, Jeremy Northam and Sam Neill attended the premiere of Dean Stanley. Saturday's Incendiary premiere was not attended by Michelle Williams or Ewan McGregor, but lovely Matthew Macfadyen and young costar Sidney Johnston showed up to support director Sharon Maguire's movie.

I'm still feeling the afterglow today from my time in the
Emmy press room, where so many happy stars came to talk about their big awards. There are a bunch of tidbits I didn't get to share with you live, so to see what Bryan Cranston, Paul Giamatti, and Laura Linney had to say, read on!
- Bryan Cranston was maybe the happiest guy on Earth when he came back to the press room, clutching his Emmy in one hand and the envelope with his name on it in the other.

Radio City Music Hall was bursting with stars of the stage last night at the
2008 Tony Awards. The glitz and glamour were everywhere as some of the biggest names in Broadway came together to celebrate each other. Mary-Louise Parker was a highlight as usual, though I'm not sure what to say about the Counting Crows' Adam Duritz on her arm.

Last night the
Tony Awards took place in New York – giving plaudits to the hard workers hoofing it night after night on Broadway – and my girl Buzz has info on
all the winners. Most of the red carpet ladies stuck to elegant dresses in dark and pale shades, with occasional bursts of bright colour from
Marisa Tomei, Christine Baranski and Gina Torres. Kristin Chenoweth (
Pushing Daisies) and
Mary-Louise Parker looked stunning in their black dresses,
as did Glenn Close when she stepped on to the stage to present an award in her fluid number.

When I think of fascinating historical figures, John Adams isn't necessarily one who jumps out at me. But maybe that's because I just don't know enough about him yet. After all, as executive producer Tom Hanks says in the preview for HBO's upcoming
John Adams miniseries, "If I had been told this at any time in my educational career, it would have blown my little skull."

While many chose to let the gowns speak for themselves and go with bare necks on the red carpet, these ladies were rocking knockout necklaces. From Nicole Kidman's dramatic icicle-like layered necklace to Jennifer Gardner's choker, all of these ladies had a little, or a lot, of frosting on their necks.

Laura Linney is playing it safe in this black strapless Michael Kors gown. While black is safe, it can also be
extremely elegant and classy as is the case here. What do you think?
One of the more interesting red carpet moments was when Gary Busey interrupted Ryan Seacrest and his interview with Jennifer Garner and Laura Linney. Poor Jen looked quite scared so we're wondering if she'll reconsider walking with Ben next time around. Watch the clip and tell us, is Gary Busey crazy or just excited for the Oscars?

Laura Linney's distinctive acting style has won her two previous Academy Award
nominations, and
this Sunday she's up for the third time. Maybe number three will be her charm? Take the quiz to see what you know about this unique actress, aside from which adorable dimple is more pronounced!

Another day, a ton of new
London Fashion Week shows to catch up on! This time it was Betty Jackson and there were a bevy of celeb ladies present. I think it's safe to say they were a slightly more mature crowd than the kids at
Topshop Unique.
