Apr 10 2009 - 4:30am I'm always looking for new ways to make the strength training moves I do at home more challenging, and it looks like
Jennifer Lopez found the perfect piece of equipment. With her trainer,
Gunnar Peterson, she uses a
TRZ Suspension Trainer ($170), which weighs less than two pounds. All you do is attach it to a door, tree branch, swing set, or any other sturdy point such as a
pull-up bar.

My mom (who is a personal trainer) uses this with some of her clients. I've tried it before, and let me tell you...the TRX will target your back and chest like nothing else can. It's absolutely amazing!
1That looks like an awesome workout without taking a bunch of space and looks like fun.
2Sounds good... and she looks great!
3Just want to mention to anyone that may want to buy one of these, if you search around there are versions of this that other companies (including the original company that come up with this) make and sell it at a much cheaper price - especially since TRX has since raised the price of theirs and also since people want to stretch what money they have. I believe go fit is one of the companies that makes a version of it.
Anyway to save money.
4That looks fun. lol
5my trainer uses the trx with me all the time - and it freaking KILLS.
6That looks like fun! I bet it's a killer workout as well. If it doesn't take up too much space, I might have to look into getting one of those for my personal gym.
7I'm guessing that you use the door option, you might want to make sure that it is locked.
8Oh! I saw some of these in a gym I went to on a free day. I wondered what they were! I thought it was for when you got so fed up of your workout you...
9This thing really scares me. I can't get past the thought that if it malfunctions, a person will plummet to the floor and likely break all ten fingers and a few teeth.
10This thing is amazing. I use it at the gym. I love it. It's a nice change from regular weight barring workouts.
11I love the TRX and my write about it frequently on my Blog at http://virtualworkoutpartner.wordpress.com/
12This sounds cool... I love resistance training!
