Movie Alert: In the Family

What would you do if you learned that you have the genetic marker, known as BRCA gene mutation, for breast cancer and you had a 95 percent of developing the disease? Filmmaker Joanna Rudnick decided to make a documentary film about the dilemma facing her, like having prophylactic mastectomies, and many other women who have been confronted with the information that they have the genetic disposition to develop the disease. Here's the trailer for the film that premieres tonight on PBS.

Angelina Jolie Debuts In the Land of Blood and Honey With Brad Pitt on Valentine's Day

Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt celebrated a very special Valentine's Day in Sarajevo tonight at a screening of In the Land of Blood and Honey. Brad and Angelina arrived in Bosnia earlier in the day fresh off a layover in Berlin where she was honored last night with the Cinema for Peace award. The pair are back together after being apart while he traveled to London on Sunday for the BAFTA Awards. Brad didn't take home a new trophy, though he did get to hang out with fellow nominee and close friend George Clooney.

The Jolie-Pitts are traveling without their six children at the moment; however, Brad says the kids love joining them on the road. During his recent taping of Inside the Actors Studio Brad talked about traveling as a family, and that each person is responsible for packing their own bag. Award season will bring Brad and Angelina back to LA soon enough for the Feb. 26 Oscar ceremony where he is among the leading men in contention for year's best actor.

Rachel Zoe Totes Skyler in Style as She Makes the NYFW Rounds

Rachel Zoe had her son Skyler in her arms as the pair returned to their NYC hotel yesterday. Rachel bundled him up in a knit hat and sweater while she rocked a fur coat and shades. The duo stayed close during a break from the NYFW festivities, but she was back out on the town later in the evening to claim a front-row seat at her longtime friend Marc Jacobs's runway presentation. It's been a busy few days in the Big Apple for Rachel and her family. On Saturday, she debuted her Fall 2012 Rachel Zoe collection, and on Sunday, she hit up several of her fellow designers' shows. Rachel was backstage at Diane von Furstenberg and at Derek Lam, where her husband Rodger Berman joined her for a few photos. We caught up with the stylist during the latter show. Rachel shared her cold weather styling tips with us as well as her advice for looking chic on the go. Miranda Kerr kicked off her Valentine's Day celebrations with an appearance at Australian department store David Jones yesterday. She had her mom Therese on hand as she promoted her skincare line, Kora Organics, greeted fans, and gifted supporters with personalized Valentine's Day cards. Miranda's been in her native Australia all month, and while she's been working during her stay, she's also enjoyed downtime with her family. Miranda, Orlando Bloom, and Flynn relaxed poolside with friends last week, and the trio were back together for lunch just yesterday - Flynn showed off his walking skills during the afternoon outing!

Nicole Kidman and Keith Urban Travel Down Under With Their Girls

The whole Kidman-Urban family stepped out in Sydney yesterday. Nicole carried 1-year-old Faith while Keith held onto Sunday's hand. The foursome recently traveled Down Under, where Keith will appear on the Australian version of The Voice. He'll mentor a group of singers along with other coaches Seal, Joel Madden, and Delta Goodrem in the series, which will air sometime this year. Keith's been the one singing lately, since he hit the stage at the Grand Ole Opry for his first post-throat surgery show earlier this month and had two concerts in Texas over the weekend. He's not the only star to recently recover from the vocal cord procedure since Adele made her own return performance at last night's Grammys.

The Rum Diary

In this adaption of Hunter S. Thompson's novel, we follow the wild escapades of Paul Kemp (Johnny Depp), an American journalist who takes a job at a newspaper in Puerto Rico in the '50s. Although Paul has every intention to report on the important news of the region, he just can't say no to a good party. While the location is absolutely stunning (as is costar Amber Heard) and Depp has some seriously hilarious moments, the story doesn't satisfy. The DVD includes a behind-the-scenes featurette and a documentary.

Take Shelter

In this drama, Michael Shannon plays Curtis LaForche, a small-town man who manages a happy family life, despite his financial struggles and daughter's disability. When Curtis starts having terrifying dreams about a storm of apocalyptic proportions, he has difficulty communicating his anxiety to his wife or community. Despite the fact that Take Shelter didn't receive an Oscar nomination, it received five Film Independent Spirit Award nominations, including one for Shannon's performance. The DVD extras include deleted scenes, a commentary track, and a Q&A with Shannon and costar Shea Whigham.

The sad and shocking news of Whitney Houston's death this weekend prompted her friends and other stars to share their thoughts about the singer. Her good pal Mariah Carey gave condolences to Whitney's family while Christina Aguilera said, "We have lost another legend." The Recording Academy also released a statement saying, "Six-time Grammy winner Whitney Houston was one of the world's greatest pop singers of all time who leaves behind a robust musical soundtrack spanning the past three decades. Her powerful voice graced many memorable and award-winning songs. A light has been dimmed in our music community today, and we extend our deepest condolences to her family, friends, fans and all who have been touched by her beautiful voice."

Ben and Jen Spend a Packed Weekend With Seraphina and Violet

Pregnant Jennifer Garner kept her girls busy over the weekend, starting with a Saturday trip to the nail salon and a visit to a friend's birthday party yesterday. Jen's kept up a packed schedule in recent weeks and doesn't seem to be slowing down. She's been spotted all over town running errands with Seraphina and dropping Violet off at her various activities. When it came to picking up a gift for yesterday's bash, though, Jen left the shopping duties to Ben and Seraphina. Ben and Sera stopped by the Brentwood Country Mart prior to the celebration, and she even left with a heart shaped lollipop of her own. The Garner-Affleck family doesn't hide their affection, which is one of the reasons Jen and Ben are among our favorite celebrity couples on Valentine's Day.
