Blake Lively Doesn't Mind a Pre-Booty-Shorts Burrito

It appears that Serena van der Woodsen isn't the only one with a carefree attitude. Blake Lively's Gossip Girl character gives off a see-if-I-care air that the actress apparently adopts regarding the food she eats and when.

Blake spills the beans about her lack of willpower when it comes to monitoring her diet in the August issue of UK Glamour and said, "I had to do a scene in a bra and shorts for the first time in two years. On the day of the shoot, I ate a pork burrito, chips, and coke. Afterwards, I thought, 'I probably shouldn't have done that.' But whatever." The slender actress doesn't turn to exercise to work off the food she loves; in fact, she admits, "I have never worked out."

At 21 years old, Blake's metabolism is still working to her advantage, but thankfully she's talking about getting into exercise. She plans on getting a trainer because, she says, working out makes you "feel better." It doesn't seem like Blake needs any help with her self-confidence, but regular exercise is an important part of being a healthy person. Plus, she'll be able to eat those pork burritos for more years to come.

Gossip Girl's Jessica Szohr Discusses Diet and Fitness

Jessica Szohr has it going on: Besides working as an actress on Gossip Girl (and snuggling up to Chace Crawford on-screen) and displaying enviable style, it seems she also has a relatable attitude toward health and fitness. PopSugar was lucky to attend the Juicy Couture 5th Avenue flagship store opening in NYC where Jessica spoke about how she stays fit during the holidays.

For me it’s just about balance because I’m not the greatest eater ever. I like my pizza and french fries with ranch sauce. But I also realize if I’m going to eat a lot then I have to work out a little bit. So I try to do yoga a couple times a week. And I’m trying to start to do cardio but it takes me like 30 minutes to run a mile so it’s not working out so well. I have been lately, more than normal, which is probably good because I’m going to eat a ton of cookies and stuff.

I think it’s balance. I try during the week not to eat whatever I want, kind of like, eat healthier. And on the weekend its like, you know what? I’m going to eat french fries.

When challenged with the question about what she does if she eats a lot of fries, Jessica smartly answered, "More yoga, maybe two miles." My kind of girl.

5 Ways to Know You Need a New Trainer

A personal trainer can help you tremendously in your efforts in getting fit. Most trainers are with you 100 percent in that goal, but some can be lacking in their efforts. Trainers aren't cheap so here are a few tips that could be indicators that you may need to put your money (and time) towards another trainer:

She did not sit down with you to get your history. Trainers should sit down with their clients to get their health history as well as assess their fitness levels before having them do a single sit-up.
He does not pay attention while you're doing your exercises. A trainer is supposed to make sure you are doing the exercises properly so you can get the best workout. If your trainer takes the time to clean up the weight room, check her voice mail or gossip with another trainer while you're doing your sets then you may want to look for another trainer.
She has you doing the same stuff over and over again. This is why you hired a trainer in the first place, right? Your trainer should have you switching up your exercises. A little repetition is OK, but doing the same stuff over and over again is not.

He makes you cry. Don't laugh, it happens. If you don't mix well with your trainer then you should try to find a better match to your personality. There is no rule you have to stick with a trainer you just don't like.
She airs out dirty laundry to you. You're paying her to help you work out, not to help her with her boyfriend problems. Sure, there is nothing wrong with a little girl talk, but it shouldn't get in the way of your exercise.
