In the past couple of weeks, we've heard a few rumblings of a budding romance between Paris Hilton and George Clooney. While the rumor initially made us laugh, the gossip isn't going away. We're finding it very hard to believe that George and Paris are the next Hollywood couple, but it wouldn't be the first time that the actor showed his iffy taste in women.

Well, hello there George Clooney! The hot bachelor is in Cabo for New Year's Eve with his buddies Cindy Crawford, Rande Gerber and Kid Rock. Just like another group of celebrity friends, it looks like they want to say hello to 2009 shirtless or in bikinis in the Mexico town.

Some of my favourite manjoyment subjects have added moustaches this year for their film roles. As I'm used to seeing them smooth-cheeked or stubbled, it's taken a while to get used to their new facial appendages. Justin Timberlake didn't keep his Love Guru look for very long, but if you love it you can watch it over and over when the DVD's released on Boxing Day. 
George Clooney was in Berlin on Saturday night, chatting with Santa and flirting with the ladies at the "A Heart for Children" charity gala before heading to dinner with friends. He had been set to receive an award at the event for his work towards calming tensions in Darfur, but George decided to pass the honor on to aid workers in the region. While in Germany, he sat down with the country's newspaper Bild to chat about his family, friends, and why he felt undeserving of the accolades.

After partying in London together earlier this week, George Clooney and Matt Damon rounded up even more of their celebrity friends for a private charity party in London last night. The event was a fundraiser for Darfur, a cause that both George and Matt have raised tons of money for and been openly passionate about in the past. George's buddies Cindy Crawford and Rande Gerber were in attendance, as well as Luciana Damon and Claudia Schiffer.

Matt Damon, Guy Ritchie, Scarlett Johansson, Bono, Eva Mendes and a whole host of other Brit and American celebs showed up to a party in London arranged by George Clooney for the purpose of raising money for Africa. Guests paid up to £10000 for a ticket to the event at which Kid Rock provided some live music, and Antony Worrell-Thompson and Ainsley Harriot presided over the menu.
The event was held at the Mayfair home of a senior executive at Barclays, and the guest list also included David Walliams, Sarah Ferguson, Cindy Crawford, Trinny Woodall, Sophie Dahl, Jamie Cullum and Sir Michael Caine. 
It was a former Sexiest Man Alive conference in London last night attended by Matt Damon and George Clooney. The two men were joined by Luciana, but only Clooney made it a very late night at the bar with buddies. Fellow winner Brad Pitt is heading the mustache revolution these days, but it seems only George and not Matt have joined the brigade just yet.
