Christian Bale went incognito with his baseball hat and scruffy goatee while out and about LA on Monday. The third most profitable actor of the year has more blockbusters ahead, but these next few months are about looking back on 2008. The Dark Knight was recognized by the Producers Guild of America as a nominee for Best Picture and it's up for multiple awards at tonight's People's Choice Awards, tomorrow's Critics Choice Awards, not to mention Sunday's Golden Globes (don't forget to fill out a ballot now).

Christian Bale took a solo walk around Brentwood earlier this week looking like a regular guy in some badass shades. It was quite the year for Batman as The Dark Knight took the world by storm, but it also had its share of lows as well including the controversy with his mother and sister over the Summer. 2009 will bring Bale back onto the scene when he takes Terminator: Salvation around the world only we'll have to wait and see if his newest blockbuster will be as beloved as his last one.

Christian Bale scooped up Emmeline and stepped out in LA to run some errands with Sibi on Saturday. With award season around the corner, we'll be hearing a lot more about The Dark Knight over the next few months. There's already buzz about Heath's Golden Globe nomination, and most of you agree that the film is both the best action movie and best dramatic movie of the year.

Christian Bale and Aaron Eckhart grabbed dinner together at Il Cielo in LA earlier this week, joined by Christian's wife Sibi. The partial Dark Knight reunion is never really complete without Heath Ledger, though his memory will live on through Award Season and when the movie is rereleased in January. While Maggie Gyllenhaal may not be your favorite dramatic actress of 2008, Ledger's name should be on everyone's minds when the time comes and hopefully this is just a sign that Christian and Aaron are ready to hit the red carpets again, even without their friend.

Christian Bale stepped out with his wife Sibi yesterday to grab a cup of coffee to go. While he waits to get started on his next film, Killing Pablo, Christian must be happy to have extra time with his wife and daughter Emmeline. That also means being around for the holidays, which is when The Dark Knight comes out on DVD before hitting the big screen again in January to reignite Oscar buzz.

He serviced both his car and his shiny red bike, and we know that Christian's already got the gear to embark on his next adventure. Now that the Summer of The Dark Knight has come to an end, we're sure this private actor is enjoying being out of the spotlight before his next big blockbuster, Terminator 4.
