OK, I know it's nothing all that earth-shattering since long waves have been in fashion long before the Farrah Fawcett days. But this New Year's Eve, it was all about the soft cascading curl. Whether it was a more-refined look like Ashlee Simpson and Eva Longoria Parker or tousled and undone à la Molly Sims and Chloë Sevigny, the look was still sexy — and a little more inspired than pin-straight locks.

Among the celebrities who
partied in Miami Beach on New Years was Chloe Sevigny. You better believe the risk-taking actress went all out for the occasion. She dressed up head to toe in a look from
Louis Vuitton's Spring '09 collection.

I'm equally thrilled to pick up the latest issue of H&M Magazine as I am to get my W. While the latter satiates my desire for fantastical fashion, H&M's pleases my budget-conscious side. More than ever I am looking to the quarterly mag to provide me with cheap chic fashions.

It's been such a long wait for the third season of
Big Love. Thanks to the
writers' strike, the HBO drama won't return till January — almost 18 months after it was last on TV.
But there are finally some real signs that we're getting close to the premiere, including the first couple of promos that HBO's rolled out over the past week or so.

This week, celebrities' looks ranged from casual cute to so sophisticated. These beauties shined in their sassy style. Were you paying attention to their stylish looks on Fab?

This is why I adore Chloe Sevigny: While everyone else at the
grand opening party of Fontainebleau in Miami Beach showed up in fancy frocks, Chloe played by her own rules. She downplayed her olive corset mini dress with a
cool cropped denim jacket and set her feet apart with leopard ankle-strap sandals. Finishing touches are a lucite bangle and a Chanel bag.

It was a starry night in Miami Beach at Fontainebleau's reopening party on Friday. Kate Hudson stood out with her bright blue dress as Paris Hilton struck a pose in her shimmery ensemble. Gwyneth Paltrow wore a tiny
LWD and hung out with Alex Rodriguez but it was
Madonna's other BFF that ran interference when a girl tried to flirt with him at the party.

This week, celebrities attended fashionable fêtes dressed in a surprising array of hues. From yellow to mint green, these beauties showed us how to rock color in the Fall. Take my quiz to see if you paid attention to their rule-breaking ensembles.

Preen are one of my favourite design brands. The London based duo present their quirky-yet-wearable designs in New York and I am always excited to see their collection.
This Autumn their collection included a
dark blue sequined dress which clearly impressed both Natalie Imbruglia and Chloe Sevigny.

Just when I was fearing a safe season of LBDs, Chloe walked the printed carpet in head-to-toe mint green Balenciaga. Phew! She stood out at the 12th Annual ACE Awards: Accessories Council Honors Fashion Influencers in an easy silk T-shirt dress, a rhinestone choker, nude swirly sandals, and a saucy metallic clutch.
