With juice labels touting their healthy benefits, it's easy to believe we're doing our bodies good with a glass of fruit juice. But just this week, Dr. Jennifer Ashton caught my attention when she stopped by the CBS Early Show to clear up some juicy health myths.

Just like Paula Radcliffe illustrated that motherhood and winning marathons are not mutually exclusive, and just like Dara Torres proved you can come back after childbirth and win Olympic medals, tennis pro Kim Clijsters shows that you can come back and be a champion as well.
Clijsters retired from tennis in 2007 and gave birth to daughter Jada Ellie at the end of February 2008 after a tennis career winning the US Open in 2005, and making it to the finals in the Australian Open and the French Open. By no means a shabby career.

With schools across the nation back in session, from universities to the elementary grades, swine flu cases are on the rise. This H1N1 virus spreads more quickly among children, teens, and young adults, but reported cases have been mild.
However, this uptick in cases indicates that flu season is coming early, and back-to-school season also means travel season for the business class.

It's estimated that 80 to 85 percent of women are blessed with cellulite, including many of you FitSugar readers. That puckery skin on our legs, booty, belly, and arms is the reason many of us exercise and diet.

Smoking Smarties is the newest fad among young teens. It involves crushing a packet of Smarties candies while still in their cylindrical wrapper, inhaling the sugary powder, and exhaling it so it looks like smoke from a cigarette. The idea is to puff on this imitation cigarette like you would a cigar, just inhaling the sugar into your mouth, not into your lungs.

The ads promoting high fructose corn syrup (HFCS) that are airing on TV irritate me to no end and I know they bother a few of you as well. The controversy surrounding the ad campaign, which is estimated to cost around $20 to $30 million, continues to grow. The basic premise of the ads is that HFCS is natural since it is made from corn (they don't mention how processed the syrup truly is) and that it is just like sugar.

While I am loving the fashion of the US Open, it is the exciting tennis that keeps me watching — like the amazing quarterfinal battle between Venus and Serena. The women's final airs today at 8:00 p.m. EST, and the men's final will be Sunday at 4:00 p.m.
