There were plenty of parties to choose from on NYE, but Ashlee Simpson and Pete Wentz had their own at PURE in Vegas on Wednesday. The couple celebrated their first new year as newlyweds and parents with other celebs like Heidi Montag, Spencer Pratt, and the Kardashian sisters — check how out how all the stars celebrated new years here. With all of the hoopla surrounding Christmas and New Year's, I completely forgot to ask you what you think of Ashlee Simpson's new, old hair colour. I remember Ash as a blonde from her 7th Heaven days, but since then she's gone from black to brown to deep red. I absolutely love the colour, the length and the loose, relaxed waves that frame her beaming smile. 
Ashlee was looking chic while running errands in LA before getting ready to celebrate the New Year in Las Vegas. She and Pete hosted an event at Pure and even the poster is enough to make us curious about the evening but these two were not your top choice for celebs you wanted to ring in the New Year with. Baby Bronx was not out with mom and we're hoping he skipped out on the Vegas festivities as well but it's a good thing mom and dad still know how to have a good time.

Celeb Style: Ashlee Simpson While out holiday shopping with a friend, Ashlee Simpson looked a bit somber in her all-black outfit, but that doesn't mean she didn't look good. She put on a lot of black layers but differentiated the ensemble with a pop of white in her scarf and purple with her glasses. The Jennifer Fisher necklace completes the look.

In the spirit of the holidays, Ashlee Simpson and Pete Wentz decided to share the first photo of Bronx Mowgli! On Pete's website he said that their son is the "best gift we could ever receive" and encourage readers to donate to charities including the Richie-Madden Foundation. The two new parents look so happy and loving towards their new addition.
