Not quite two months after the
birth of her son, Amy Poehler said farewell to
Saturday Night Live on Saturday. Not only did she pull out one last Weekend Update (including a pretty awesome
"Really!?! with Seth and Amy" about
the Rod Blagojevich scandal), but even Maya Rudolph showed up for a farewell "Bronx Beat" segment — with host Hugh Laurie as their talk show guest, naturally.

They may not have been on SNL this weekend, but Cameron Diaz and Casey Affleck were among the celebrities who came to the after party late Saturday night. Casey went with a layered look while Cameron looked effortlessly fabulous as usual. Amy Poehler also stepped out to celebrate after starring in the show and delivering her final farewell during Weekend Update, which you can watch below.

Quick trips out of the house don't happen much for new mothers. Just ask funny lady Amy Poehler.
With her one-month-old baby boy, Archie, in tow,
Amy stepped out for some fresh air, but it looks like she discovered that running an errand requires a lot more work and gear now than it did in her pre-mommy days.

Amy Poehler stepped out in NYC yesterday to take her new baby boy out for a stroll. Archie turns one month old today, but his parents are already
back out on the scene and looking fabulous. Amy's got plenty of projects on her hands from her
web series to her
upcoming TV show, but it looks like right now she's happy with her biggest task at hand — being a new mom.
Amy Poehler Is Throwing a Party For Smart Girls Funny woman and new mommy, Amy Poehler is throwing a party and only smart girls are invited. Her web series, Smart Girls at the Party, celebrates confident young ladies who "change the world by being themselves." The first webisode focused on Cameron King, an articulate and imaginative 10-year-old writer.

Seriously, they're going to have to give the
Office non-spinoff spinoff a name really soon, because this is just getting confusing. But here's the deal:
Rashida Jones has booked a role on the Amy Poehler-led new NBC comedy, which will reunite her with
The Office writers Greg Daniels and Michael Schur.
Rumors of Jones joining the spinoff
first surfaced months ago, but that was way back when we thought the show would be a direct spinoff of The Office (oh, how silly we were!).

We bet lil Archie is going to think his mama is pretty cool when he's old enough to watch the clip of her
shaking the SNL stage at the end of her pregnancy. We wonder if the 8 pound, one ounce bundle of joy inherited his parents funny bone. Congratulations to the new lil family!
TMZ reports that Amy Poehler and Will Arnett welcomed a baby boy this afternoon. We're still waiting on a name for the little one and more details. Unfortunately this means we'll be missing funny Amy on SNL tonight, but congrats to the new parents!

Everyone tuned into
Saturday Night Live to see Tiny Fey and Sarah Palin go head to head, but it was a very pregnant Amy Poehler who stole the show. The expectant mama spit out a rap sequence while bouncing around stage big belly without every missing a beat or losing her breath.
What's the most physical thing you did while pregnant?
