New Year's Resolution time, and for many of you, "getting fit" tops your list. It may be frustrating if you want to start a consistent exercise routine, but realistically know you don't have much time to cram those much needed workouts into your schedule. So you may say, "Well, just forget it.

There are many times when I don't want to exercise, but will tell myself to just do 15 minutes and that will be good enough and then most times that 15 minutes will turn into 30 or 45 minutes!!!
1When I started exercising, I kind of had the all or nothing attitude, but I got over it REAL fast when I went to Ukraine for 2 weeks. I was with a group of people that didn't work out and I wasn't "allowed" to run outside due to safety reasons. So I found time to work out in little increments...jumping jacks, running up and down the stairs in the apartment, and lots of pushups and situps. I always tried to squeeze in at least 15 minutes here and there when I could to keep myself from going insane.
2For me, I run 5x a week. On days when I'm feeling blah, I just tell myself that I have never regretted taking a run, but I regret it if I skip a run. Then once I get started, I usually end up going for longer than I had planned.
3If I desperately don't want to go, I don't. But then I usually will make time to take my dog for a long walk... And I go the next day to the gym and go hard.
4i am so like this! today i couldn't get to the gym, so i feel like it's a pass to do nothing. i am going to try and do a strength work out with free weights in my apartment though because i know that anything is better than nothing!
5Every little bit counts.
6The "all or nothing" attitude is my biggest problem when it comes to exercise and diet. It's one of the things I am trying to get over in the new year.
