4 minute Booty Workout Video

Springtime is upon us and so are mini skirts and hot pants. Swimsuit season is just around the corner, so it is time to start toning the booty area. For me, a toned backside is really great for all season, but soon we will be showing more of it so let's get down to business.

Here is a 4 minute exercise video for you to try.

I will have the printable gym version ready for you all tomorrow, since I have never seen someone working out with a laptop at the gym.

Here are a few tips:

Use a soft mat when performing the first 3 exercises - be nice to your knees.
In Charlie Chaplin really pull your abs away from the floor and your hand. This will help keep your low back muscles relaxed to ensure more work in your glutes - which is what we want, right?
Bridge with your legs in parallel (heels in line with sits bones) and your heels close to your booty (this will make the hamstrings work less and the glutes more). You can use a small ball or a pillow between your knees to get the inner thighs more active too.

For Plié Squats and Lunges remember to not tuck your pelvis under and you'll be golden.

REMEMBER: If a move hurts or feels weird, try the motion smaller. If the move still feels weird, stop and try it again in a couple of days.

Starter Arms: Exercise Video

Here is the third installment of the Test Case series: Starter Arms. This video is all about toning the upper arms to get you ready for springtime tank tops.

You will need a set of 5 to 8 pound dumbbells. If you don't have weights experiment with soup cans or full water bottles. Try to do this every other day for 2 weeks and see if your arm tone changes. Consider it an experiment or a challenge.

Some of the exercises are done with just one weight, but experiment and see if you can handle using both. Feel free to repeat the series once or twice.

Tone Your Love Handles: Exercise Video

This video is all about toning up your love handles. Yep - just in time for Valentine's Day. While you may not be able to pick and choose the body parts where you lose fat, you can spot tone an area. To lose weight at your waist you need to commit to a cardio workout plan which will help you lose fat all over. Toning up the muscles under those love handles will both strengthen your core and give you a firmer look through your waist.

So give a little love to your love handles; I am sure they will enjoy the attention. There is now a printer friendly version of the love handle workout so you can take it with you to the gym.

Short, Sweet and Complete Abdominal Workout Video

How about those abs? If you are bored with your ab routine, or if you neglect your middle, here's a workout for you to try.

This video is made for you to play while you do the exercise. Think of it as a quick little workout with a voice leading you along and a counter in the lower lefthand corner counting down your reps.

So don't just watch. Watch and do. Then be sure to work your abs at three days a week. Your belly will thank you for all the attention.

For a few tips, just

You want to make sure you are working your deep abs the entire time. So focus on pulling your navel to your spine.
To keep tension out of your neck when doing crunches, think of holding an orange between your chin and your chest. Don't juice the orange, but don't drop it either.
When performing toe taps and heel taps, keep the torso and pelvis totally still. Use your abs to do this.
Have fun with the Hip Ups, but remember to control the motion and really scoop out your low belly.
When twisting to work your obliques, isolate the movement to just the rib cage. Don't move your low back.

In fact, for $79.99 a month, you'll get 450 minutes of talk time, unlimited data (including web browsing, email, apps, and GPS), messaging (including SMS, MMS, and video), plus free calls to any mobile in the US, no matter the carrier. If you want more voice minutes, you can upgrade to a 950-minute plan for $89.99 or a "Simply Everything" plan that gives you unlimited voice, messaging, and data for $109.99.

First previewed at this year's CES event, the battery case with a monocrystal solar panel requires only one hour of time in the sun to get 25 minutes of talk time, 20 minutes of Internet use, 35 minutes of video playback, and over two hours of audio playback.

For tech addicts on the go and often away from any sort of charging option, the convenient part of Mobius is you can choose when to use the extra battery power stored in the solar panel. Droid Bionic Living Large on Verizon For $299

The large smartphone trend continues: Verizon announced the availability of the Droid Bionic, on sale starting Sept. 8, for $299. Coming with a 4.3-inch qHD screen, this phone should stand up to abuse put forth by your bag, drops, scrapes, and lots more, thanks to the super-tough Gorilla glass screen and will be really easy to read your texts, emails, and all your favorite websites outdoors in the sun with the dual-layer antireflective coating and Adobe flash installed.

But this phone isn't all about the outside. On the inside, the Droid Bionic boasts 4G LTE connection speeds, an Android 2.3.4 Gingerbread OS, lightning fast dual-core 1Ghz processor, and 1GB of RAM, 8MP rear-facing camera with flash and 1080p video capture quality, and 16GB of on-board memory (with an included 16GB microSD card and support for 32GB microSD cards). Basically, this thing can handle whatever you need it to - whether it's fast uploads and downloads, quickly browsing the Internet, or taking high-quality pictures and video (and storing them all on your phone). Plus, multitasking is intuitive with multiwindows, and you can mirror your video or photo playback on your big screen with an HDMI cable.

LeapFrog LeapPad Puts Tots in Control of Their Own Learning Tablets

Moms may soon regain control of their iPads. The tech toy from Apple that is filled with mama's cooking, organizing, and entertaining apps somehow worked its way into lots of lil ones' hands, and many moms are having a hard time prying it away.

That should all change next week when LeapFrog starts shipping out its new LeapPad Explorer Learning Tablet ($100). A tablet engineered just for kids, the LeapPad takes all of the technology introduced on last year's Leapster Explorer (including an ereader that adjusts to tots' learning levels, letter and number writing skills, and a high-resolution touchscreen) and adds exciting new functions like a tilt-sensor (just like the iPad), an enhanced ereader with a visual dictionary and games embedded within the books, a larger (five-inch) screen, and a built-in camera. The company sent us a tablet to try out, see what we thought below.

Who is this product designed for? The manufacturer suggests that the tablet is for tots ages 4 to 9 years old (and it can be customized for up to three kids), but a preschooler could navigate his way around it, too.

What sets it apart? With a five-inch 480-x-272 pixel (16 x 9) touchscreen, the LeapPad offers kids plenty of space to read, draw, write, or view their activities. Given the educational basis behind all of LeapFrog's products, the learning apps included with the system are brought to life on it. The new Ultra eBooks not only reads stories to kids, but should tykes select individual words, the system sounds them out. Portions of books are animated and games are built into them as well. A built-in camera and video recorder can be used on their own or in conjunction with other apps to create storybooks and videos that can be shared once the tablet is connected to a computer. And the accelerometer transforms the tablet into a gaming console, allowing for motion-based activities. Like other LeapFrog products, the Explorer connects to the online Learning Path, allowing parents to track their tots' progress and identify areas requiring additional support. When connected to the computer, artwork, photos, and videos created by kids can also be shared with family and friends through Facebook and email.

What could be better? Kids used to tooling around with their parents' gadgets will have to get used to a slower unit. The 400MHz processor doesn't allow apps to load as quickly as they may be used to. Also, with no WiFi, tots will have to forgo playing Angry Birds and the like, in favor of the more educational apps created by LeapFrog (which could be a very good thing!). The cost may set some families off as well. While the tablet costs $100 and comes with four free apps - Art Studio, Story Studio, Pet Pad, and one of your choice - the 100 additional apps that will be available later this year will cost between $5 to $20, making it a pricey investment. On the plus side, all games and cartridges parents bought for the Explorer are compatible with the LeapPad.

Hands-On With the Samsung Infuse 4G

I'll come right out and say it: to me, size matters. So when I heard about the Infuse 4G's huge 4.5-inch screen, I asked AT&T to send me a review unit, possibly out of morbid curiosity. Could a phone this big really make a girl happy? The answer is yes, my friends. Oh, yes.

I had read from the AT&T press release that the Infuse 4G would be big, but I didn't realize just how large it was until I peeled open the box. The thing is massive (only a few inches smaller than the Samsung Galaxy Tab!), but strangely enough I didn't mind. In fact, the bright and beautiful Super AMOLED Plus screen makes this one of the most spectacular smartphones to look at, and totally worth the real estate it will be taking up in your bag or pants pocket. The Infuse is wide, but it's incredibly thin. The phone measures 9.24mm thick at its largest (it has a lip at the bottom where the speaker/microphone lives), and is very sleek with its brushed gunmetal color and texturized backplate. Plus, it's so light (maybe the lightest phone I've handled in recent memory), but it doesn't send off that cheap, plastic vibe. The quality of the hardware is really impressive, and I gotta give Samsung a round of applause for this one. Well done.
