new foods to our plates. One of my favorites is fresh maple syrup (a friend from Vermont sends me a bottle every year). Pouring it on
pancakes and
French toast is always a favorite weekend treat in my house, but I also like to cook with it.

2I'm obsessed with warm salads at the moment - Jamie Oliver has some great ones, and today I made this http://www.timesonline.co.uk/tol/life_and_style/food_and_drink/recipes/a... with a regular dressing and a poached egg, it was pretty good if I may say so.
