i'm with keaton, i want both! perhaps i would take one big room and cut it in half, to satisfy both of my needs.

I would definitely take the fitness room. No more waste of time going to and from the gym!

I love shoes! and being that shoes are my first love (after all, I am getting fit so i can buy my dream shoes!!!) I would def do the shoe closet.

Another reason, I find that even if I hve the equipment at home, I don't use it as much as I do at a gym. don't know why, but that is what happens!

I don't think someone like Paris Hilton has to decide between the two. She'll probably have a trainer come in as well as a fitness room in a different part of her 'home.'

definetely fitness room..I will sacrifice putting my shoes under my bed. I would love for my personal trainer to come over my house rather than working out at the gym with a lot of sweaty people (like I do now) lol. Smiling

I'd want the shoe closet but if I were rich enough I could have both. I do a lot of my fitness activities outdoors anyway.

Definitely the fitness room...maybe because I don't have enough shoes to fill an entire room right now but if it saves me from having to pay gym dues and go to a gym, I can use that money to fill another room with shoes!

that's actually kind of tricky for me because I like leaving the house to exercise (I live walking distance from the gym). I get a lot of motivation from being accountable to the guy at the front counter who knows if I haven't been in a week or so. Plus I like the classes....

shoe closet, because I stop by my gym on the way home from work everyday, honestly not sure I would be as motivated if I weren't paying for my membership.

Shoe closet! Laughing out loud I run outside and I can do my Pilates anywhere in the house, anyway. I can't just leave my shoes all over though...

It depends...will they both be full already? Like will the fitness room come with equipment? and will the shoe room come full of Stuart Weitzman and Louboutins? size 6?

Lately I've been day dreaming about a little room with an elliptical, treadmill, free weights, and room to do floor exercises. Ahh, it would be heaven. I love to exercise, but I hate the gym I belong to.

i'd keep the fitness room and turn the guest room into the shoe closet! the guests could sleep with my fabulous shoe collection (all of this presupposes that i'm on the forbes 400 list, of course)

I actually DO have both at my house. Our bedroom has an annex room off of it that is a giant shoe closet and I converted an extra room on the main floor into an exercise room. So I have the best of both worlds, for sure!
