We're breaking from the street style and Fashion Week's front row to bring you a look at the most glamorous fashion stars of the week. The Berlin Film Festival, pre-Oscar festivities, and even a couple of well-timed LA store openings supplied us with a dressier mix from favorites like Zoe Saldana, Jennifer Lawrence, and Rooney Mara. If you're fully immersed in Fashion Week, we can hardly blame you — but we'd be remiss not to mention the A-listers who showed off their style prowess beyond the tents. This week's set offered up fashion fodder of the dressier kind — Emmy Rossum lit up the red carpet at the NYC premiere of Beautiful Creatures in a black-and-white Andrew Gn gown, Anne Hathaway premiered Les Misérables in pink Prada in Paris, and Miranda Kerr slipped into the chicest kind of LBD, courtesy of Scanlan & Theodore, for an appearance in Melbourne. The week began with the SAG Awards and ends Sunday with the Super Bowl, a busy schedule that set the stage for a number of celebrity appearances and the chic eventwear to go with them. Not all were straight from the red carpet; another day in the life of Miranda Kerr served as yet another example of the most sophisticated street style, while Jessica Chastain showed off a gorgeous coat and a covetable bit of Dolce & Gabbana arm candy while out and about in NYC. In the way of celebrity style fodder, we're looking to Couture Week, the inauguration, a few film premieres (hello, Jennifer Lopez), and even Sundance to draw from the most glamorous of the week. Julianne Hough went bold with a neon-orange fit-and-flare dress, Rosie Huntington-Whiteley showed off another (read: printed) Céline luggage tote to covet, and Sarah Jessica Parker donned another urban-chic getup, albeit with a puffer-vest twist. No, it hasn't exactly been a week filled with red-carpet glamour, endless premieres, or high-profile parties, but this dressed-down celebrity crew proved that you don't have to pile on the glitz to make an impact. It's shaping up to be the most glamorous time of year (and we're not just talking about our own holiday-party schedule). Thanks to a slew of parties and premieres, we were treated to looks from our favorite style setters and Hollywood glamazons, like Anne Hathaway, making the rounds for Les Misérables in jaw-dropping gowns and equally stunning cocktail dresses (like this Altuzarra number).
