Memorial Day weekend is approaching!  Thank you to our nation’s heroes . . . the Army, Navy, Marines, Air Force, and Coast Guard who have served and to those who currently serve.

Memorial Day is a time for remembering those who have given their lives to this country. It also marks the beginning of sunshine.

This means not only do we get to bring out the white clothing, but summer (ie: bikini season) is just around the corner!  Do this full body exercise ball workout to get that bikini bod!

Split From Splits

If you're doing splits, you might want to rethink your workout plan.

If you're doing splits, you might want to rethink your workout plan.

In case you're not sure about what a "split" or "body part split" is in gym jargon, a split is when you split the body parts you're working on for each workout — this typically means Monday is legs, Tuesday is back, Wednesday is bi's and tri's, Thursday is abs, etc. Personally, I have never been a fan of splitting and have always done full body days (aka compound workouts) in order to get in my workouts in less time — mothers love to save time, you know? Turns out, I am doing more than just saving time as full body workouts also rev up your metabolism.

Reese Gets a Full Body Workout, So Can You!

Reese has been getting healthier and healthier as she is a new single woman prepping for an upcoming movie.

Reese has been getting healthier and healthier as she is a new single woman prepping for an upcoming movie. It looks like her trainer has been putting her through the ringer with some serious moves.

It looks like she's doing several variations of ab exercises, side planks, sprints, lots of stretching and even some crazy push-up against a tree. You go girl!

I love seeing celebs being really pushed by their trainers and it's even cooler that she is stepping up her outdoor jog! It just goes to show you that anyone can get a workout anywhere. Trees, park benches and a patch of soft grass are great tools to use in the great outdoors!
